Is there a website that you can pay to alert you when a reservation opens up?

I'm trying to make a reservation for CRT (I know) and because the stupid reservation site was down all day yesterday it means double the amount was trying for reservations and now it's all booked. I'm on hold now, 27 min in of an expected 45 min wait so I don't have high hopes.

It's for the 1 year anniversary of my dad passing so we wanted to do a nice dinner. I will cry if we don't get this.

Touring Plans has a free dining search but you may need to be a subscriber to the site. I think it's $11 for the year.

Try touring plans. There used to be a couple sites that you could pay to alert you... But Disney got those shut down like last year I think...

I have also heard good things about the touring plans ressie Finder.

Does anyone know why Touring Plans' finder wasn't shut down and all of the others were? So weird to me.

Thanks! How does it work, do I just select the restaurant even if it's book on the Disney side? Or do I fill something out that says when I want to eat at a certain restaurant and it lets me know when it opens?

I have wondered this also. We used disney dining scout last year, which worked well and was the same premise but was shut down.

They will text/email you if there is a reservation showing available online that fits the criteria you entered. Then you log on to Disney and try and book it.

What ilikedonuts, said. They will text you if something becomes available within about two hours of the time requested. You then have to go on and book it yourself. It may not be available or the exact time you want but go back to Touring Plans and refresh the search and it will search again.

there is also a cancellation thread on the dining board at Disboards. I 've never used it, though.
