I have a Solia flat iron that just doesn't curl well. I think the plates aren't close enough to the sides or something. I really just want to get a little wave without having to use a curling iron everyday.
So I'm looking for recommendations for a good one, thanks!
I think people tend to like Chi (what I have) or GHD - a little pricey, but worth it!
I've had a CHI before & vowed to never get one again because the cord broke after not very long. That was a long time ago though, so I'm not sure if that's still a problem (it was at the time when I googled about it).

I was looking into a GHD or Sedu Revolution.
Oh bummer, I've had mine for 5+ years I think? (I got my first one in 2005, which lasted probably 5 years before I broke it - my fault)
Probably just minor differences between the higher end brands, I think all of those are good options!

I triple love my BaByliss Pro. I only use it to curl. If you look in my post history you'll see some OOTD and most likely I have some waves/curls. That's what I use.

Thanks, I will look! Is it the 1 1/4" one or the skinnier one? I've actually had the 1 1/4" but think I'd need to go with the smaller one (1" I think.)

All of them. The technique is to pull your hair thru the plates at an angle. Not rocket science, just bend your hair around the side of the iron as you pull.

I do this, but I think my iron isn't ideal for it because it is a 1 1/4" vs. a 1" and I have shorter hair.
