It's a long night. We went last year on the last party night (it wasn't our arrival day), but we napped before the party so my kid was able to power through till the end (he was 4.5 at the time).
Honestly if your kids love their bedtime and won't make it till midnight I'd skip it.

I would come in a day earlier and enjoy your resort or Disney Springs. It does not sound like the party would be a good fit for your family at this time.

I'd skip it b/c:
1. Your kids will never know you miss it. Disney has so much to offer that I really don't think you'll regret skipping it.
2. Your kids love bedtime.
3. If your plane got delayed in December because of snow, and you either didn't arrive on 12/22 or just got in really late, you'll lose that money. Or, if you arrive late and just don't have the energy to go.
Nope. A lot of the fun stuff from the party will be in the parks that week anyway since it's christmas week & the party ends. honestly, it's going to be a crowded week, so start off fresh, not exhausted.

Midnight?! Damn. I don't think I wanna see either of my kids at midnight until they're teenagers. I can barely stay up that late.
This was taken exactly at midnight the night we went to the party in December lol My kids are crazy! They were up until closing the year before to at almost 12 months and almost 3.
