3bd Villa?

Planning an early December 2017 trip. I don't think we have a poly villa budget, but maybe GF?

DH really wants a monorail resort, but I'm so/so on that. I would love to stay at AK (either villa or 3 hotel rooms), but am getting meh responses since it's so far out.

There will be 5 adults, 1-4yo.

AKV grand villas are awesome!!! The ones at Jambo are seriously my favorite and we hope to transfer points from someone else one year so we have enough and can go with some friends and stay in one.

Could you fit a two bedroom at BLT? Going to the three bedrooms is a significant jump in price.

That's where we stayed last time and loved. But my sister wants her own room this time.

3 bedrooms take an insane amount of points. You would be better off getting a 2 bedroom and a studio.

I've only stayed in a 3 bedroom at the Grand Californian and while it was nice it wasn't worth the amount of points we used for it. Most of the extra space is used in the bedrooms and there isn't much lounging room other than the living room and the upstairs landing (ours had a pool table and a few chairs).

I second the 2 bedroom
& studio or check out other options...3 studios, a 1 bedroom & 1 or 2 studios.

Don't get me wrong, a 3 bedroom sounds awesome & they're huge - it just sounds like such a waste of money here.

If your sister wants her own room & will pay for it you could do a 2 bedroom & a studio. Studios at BLT are teeny tiny though, but if it's just 1-2 people it will be fine.

I was actually thinking of doing 3 reg rooms, but maybe a studio and a 2bd will work.

My mom wants to stay at GF, I would love to stay at poly. The 3bds at GF have a media room! Who needs that while at Disney?

And last time we spent more time in the room bc E still needed a decent nap, but I don't think we'll have that this next trip.

Send them to the GF and you can stay at the Poly! They're right next door, it wouldn't be a huge deal. 

Or split stay would be super easy, too. You could try 3 studios at the Poly and then something else at the GF.
