I hope everyone had a great weekend. Got my tattoo, house cleaning, Folklife, and hanging out with family this weekend. It was great.

I'm waiting for my eye exam to start. I'm running out of contacts, so it's time to see if my eyesight is the same or worse. My doctor's office is about a 15 minute walk from my work, so it's pretty convenient.

My 3 - day weekend was kinda nice, but a lot of it was spent cleaning up for MIL's visit starting tomorrow. Send wine!

Morning. I have an interview today. I am hoping this pans out.

Saw LL yesterday and she came by my studio and saw me dance. Also, the cars they build for clients are GORGEOUS.

I am also hoping i can get my personal effects back from the office today...since its been a week and half.....

My weekend was good.   Tman had Friday off for Staff Development, so James and I took the day off, too.

Friday - we went to look at a potential different school for Tman next year.  He sat in on the class and we asked the head of school like a brazillion questions.  James thinks I'm a little on the crazy side because I take tons of notes.  That's reasonble, right?  Chosing a school for your child is a big decision.  Then, we went up to Kirkland to look a the Renegade, but had lunch at Brown Bag first - so yummy.  The Renegade thing obviously didn't work out, so we went to Issaquah to look at the Chevy Trax that I saw online, but they had sold it the day before.  So, we just walked the lot with the salesman and he showed us what they had that might fit our needs.  It was really NO pressure and kind of fun to just get to look at everything they had on the lot.  Obviously, got the Malibu.  You know how long it takes to buy a car with all the paperwork and everything?  Tman was AMAZING.  No complaining at all.  I got him some BBQ chips from the vending machine and he played on the tablet.  We took him with us for our test drives to make sure he was comfy and liked the car, too, and besides that, he kept himself 100% occupied.  He was amazing.
Saturday - went to see a 9:30 showing of Civil War and then rested ALL DAY - so lazy
Sunday - we drove over to Vantage and hung out at the Columbia River for a while - took the dogs in the Malibu and there was plenty of space.
Monday - housework and errands and more resting

Happy for a short week today.  I will be going to my old work all day Thursday for a training session.  So, only three days at my actual employer this week. 

After today, Tman only has 8 days of school.  NICE!

Where is your interview?  I mean, what kind of place...I don't expect you to share with the whole internet where you could potentially be working.
What time is it?  Good luck.  I'll be thinking of you.

And what do you mean get your personal effects back?  Like they didn't let clean out your desk?  That's messed up.

My weekend was a little rough. H and I watched Antman Friday night and near the end, I was messaged by my (now former) best friend going off on me because I had messaged her boyfriend just to see if she was okay as she hadn't checked my messages in like a week. Apparently I was "roping him in" to her being mad at me (news to me!) just by making sure she was okay. She called me names and accused me of a bunch of stuff so I changed what group she was in on FB for awhile to remove her from my feed and went to sleep. When I woke up, she had said I was adding insult to injury by doing that and unfriended me, had her boyfriend block me (I discovered when i went to remove him on FB), removed herself from all shared Pinterest boards, etc. What the actual fuck? I'm still just trying to process this bizarre and extreme behavior so it made for a hard weekend. This morning I have a new email from her but after glancing at the first sentence, I'm not going to read it until later as I have a whole work day to get through and I don't need the added stress.

I didn't really do anything super fun or exciting as a result. We got the rest of the veggies planted, hoping they'll perk up. :/ Got my homework all done for Wednesday so tonight I just get to veg. Got the kitchen half cleaned but ran out of energy for the rest and didn't get any laundry done. A friend is considering hiring me to create the logo and branding for a side venture she's going to start so late last night i finished up the contract and sent that over. If it's more money than she wants, that's fine as it would be a bit stressful for me right now to do it but I'm willing to do it in order to push myself.

Hello! Not a whole lot going on today other than work. I'm working on a rollup of a big presentation to be reviewed at our corporate offices in the coming weeks. Tomorrow I took the day off to go on a field trip with DD's class.

We had a great weekend and it was pretty low key. DD ended up at 2 sleepovers so next time I complain to H about feeling like I don't get enough time with her, I am sure he will remind me of this.

On Sunday we were driving and on a whim stopped at some different new construction homes. I think I am in love. Not necessarily with the location but with the house. We've decided our current home just doesn't fit our needs. We have a love for entertaining and it's not the best for that. So, we'll likely be selling it at least within a year. We need to finish a few projects and I'm definitely looking forward to that, but I'm even more looking forward to finding something that fits us much better.

Hey-o!

Nothing side in the south end. Got my grocery shopping done this morning and I'm trying to get everything else done so I have a little me time during nap. I actually have a want to do some writing so I want to jump on that if I can. I'm hoping this sun helps get some more of the seeds in my garden sprouting. Most of them have at least a couple poking through accept for the watermelon which i'm hoping pop up soon as they are the ones i'm most excited about growing.

minion, super cute tattoo I like the purple a lot! Also the whole listeria things irritates me... like I just want to eat what I can at this point.

This baby is so far up in my rib cage right now I think he wants to escape via my mouth. I have the glucose test tomorrow, Swedish seems more laid back that Providence since they were like oh just drink it before your appointment and then go to the lab 10 minutes before the blood draw.

We worked on the yard this weekend and nothing else too exciting.

SIL had a bridal shower which was awkward since she did not say anything to me or our MIL. She is mad that MIL is undermining/being subversive about the shower... which is stupid since MIL was THROWING the shower!!! So, SIL kicked her out of shower planning 1 week before the shower.

MIL drives me nuts but I felt bad and she started crying last week on the phone. I tried just being polite while MIL got drunk and SIL tried to ignore us. It was weird. But that is the last planned family event until the wedding in July.

SIL is upset still about us not going to Mexico at 8.5 months pregnant. I get that she is mad we won't be there, but hopefully at some point she becomes nicer to everyone.

@ksta, I am sorry your weekend was tough. It is so f-------- weird when people flip out like that over you making sure she was ok. I hope things get better

My weekend was great! Went out with some friends & my little brother Friday night.

Saturday, I had a date. We made a day of it. Drove up to Deception Pass (he's from Oregon & had never been). Then we went to La Conner & did some wine tasting. Randomly ran into one of my coworkers. Haha. We're friendly, but it was kind of awkward introducing her to my date. We went back to his place, where he cooked me a yummy dinner, and we watched a movie.

Sunday, I had brunch with a couple girlfriends. Then, a date with D. We went to a brewery, had lunch at another little place, and then went to Interbay golf & hit a bucket of balls. He was a super sweet & patient teacher.

Yesterday was pretty low key. I was super lazy in the morning. It was the first day in 3 weeks where I could just relax & not have to get up & go anywhere. I did go to my parents for a BBQ, which was nice.

Started the new job today, and I can't believe how fast the day has gone!! This is fantastic!!

spa, I had the same lax dr office with M where they let me take the drink home with me and keep it until my next apt where I would do the test. My drive was about an hour so I took the drink while driving to the apt and was able to make perfect time. Then I switched to a closer to home dr and hospital for J and Aj and they wouldn't let me do such a thing. Aj's was the worst since I had both girls with me and had to keep them occupied in the waiting room for an hour.

Not much going on here, I work a couple of hours tonight. Then I don't work again until Friday. My life is so exciting!
