Our plan was to do Fast Passes for the two adult rides we most want to do and the kid-friendly ride with the longest line. Our thought was that that way, we are done faster with the rides J can't get on and he is not getting super bored. So at MK, that would be 7DMT, BTMR and then we'd do Peter Pan because I think J would like it, but that ride is so not worth an hour wait to me. On the second MK day, we'd probably do three rides we like that he could also ride (Pirates, Jungle Cruise and Haunted Mansion) in case the lines were too long the first day. Does that strategy make sense, or should we do something different?

I assume he is not tall enough for the bigger rides? If that is the case I would use rider swap to spread out your FPs. Only book one of you on the big rides. Is it just the three of you?

Yes, just us three! So we only have to book one FP and both can ride it using rider swap? This is going to be awesome!
