Last time we stayed off-world and had so much space. This time we are booked at a Standard room at the Caribbean Beach Resort. I looked into getting a suite but decided we would rather save the money and be closer to our extended family going on the trip. So:
I figured Ben (3) will take the murphy bed:
and hopefully we can stick Ethan (1.5) in the sink area of the bathroom in a Pack N Play:
Which means I have 6 months to try to convince Ben that real beds aren't scary. Maybe buy him some bed rails we can take with us? He has a regular twin bed at home but he prefers sleeping on his floor bed. We tried making him sleep on a trundle bed once (so just a mattress elevated like half an inch) and he ended up sleeping on the floor next to it.
We all shared a small hotel room last Xmas in Aruba and only really got Ben to sleep by letting him watch DH's Ipad until he passed out.
Any other strategies? Tell me the Magic of Disney will make both kids pass out as soon as we get back to the room.
When we stayed there we were able to request bed rails.
Oh interesting. I guess I'll call when it gets closer. Alternatively, do you think that mattress comes off the bed? I know if we put it on the floor he would be fine with that. That's what we ended up doing one time he hated a hotel crib.

We were in a pirate room so we only had the two double beds, not sure on the murphy bed, sorry.

We stayed in a Little Mermaid room at AoA with 2 pack n plays. It was crowded, barely had room to walk but we were so exhausted when we got back to the room we didn't really notice.
I don't know if I'd put the pack n play in the sink area if you had plans to get ready early in the morning before kids are awake.
Mostly we bank on them being exhausted. We also usually have a room with s balcony so we can go outside while they fall asleep. I'd probably do stories, darken the room & blast white noise. Then we'd hang out right outside the door or one of us would take a walk/swim.
We've found that once the kids were asleep we could go about the room and chat quietly. We usually showered, re set our bags, did Laundry, set out kids clothes, made our game plan, etc. and of course had a cocktail!

When all five of us were in one cruise cabin, we usually put DS2 (23 months at the time) to bed first, taking the big kids out of the room for a bit. After we knew he was asleep, we'd put the big kids to bed. There was no way all three of them were going to go to sleep at the same time without lots of fooling around.

We rented a toddler bed for DD. Not sure if they had a price for just the mattress but it seems like if you only wanted a mattress that is something you could arrange. We used A baby's best friend.

Are you open to co sleeping? I find that the days we are at the parks, everyone is just spent by the end and we all go to bed at the same time anyway. Trust me, this is crazy that I am suggesting this because I am not a share my bed with my kids person at all.
