So I'm on CD40 (?!?) but got a BFN last night. I used a FRER last Friday and got a BFN and a Wondfo last night. No sign of AF. No PMS signs. Should I test again tomorrow? If yes, should I use a Wondfo or FRER?

Do you chart? Do you know when you O'ed? Maybe it was really late, so you're not that many DPOs.

If you temp, have you had a temp shift down? I had a few days of much lower temps before my period.

I would probably just keep testing daily with a Wondfo. FRERs are too pricey and I think you're more likely to get a positive first on a Wondfo.

I didn't chart this month (bummer!) so it's possible I O'd later. But I'm guessing if I did this cycle would be a bust since we didn't have great timing for a later O. We'll see!

From what I've read, your luteal phase doesn't usually change too much, but the O date can change quite a bit. So it's more likely that you O'ed late, and it's just either too early for AF or too early to test.

If you have wondfos, I'd probably just keep testing daily, but I don't get too discouraged about it and they're cheap.

And per wikipedia, lol, a menstrual cycle can be 21-45 days, so you're not in totally crazy territory yet.

I would test with yOur first morning urine with a wondfo. I find them more sensitive and obviously cheaper. Did you just come off of BC? You may have just ovulated late. Next cycle, I would at least use OPKs. When I took a temping break, I used OPKs past my first surge bc I have had more than one surge in a cycle.

No, it wasn't my FMU. I'm going to wait until tomorrow morning and test again with a Wondfo. I have been off BC for about a year now but haven't paid much attention to my cycle until a couple of months ago. My cycles were 34 and 28 days, respectively.

I was using OPKs until CD18 but stopped because I figured I had just missed my O

I wouldn't. I would probably use a cheapie on Friday and call your doctor if you get to day 45 without a bfp or af.

I am fairly certain this will be me in a week. No signs of AF, (I'm CD25; I charted no temping tho), but not entirely convinced I O'd tho who knows in cycle 1?? Anyways, I'll be testing too around day 40, like you, if AF doesn't show, but I'll probably have to pay better attention as I get used to this stuff for future cycles.

But like pp said, if you O'd late this time, you'll either get a BFP in a few days, or AF will make her entrance.
