If you book the CG for dinner/fireworks, are the viewers on the outdoor walk way in the way of viewing? Or is that not an issue. Do most of the tables offer good fireworks viewing, or just a few? Would it be better to eat earlier and then come back and watch the fireworks from the balcony viewing area?

The outdoor walkways are on the sides of the restaurant so it won't bother you at the table. They turn down the lights and pipe in the audio. Anyone who had dinner there can come up to watch so lots of people file in before and after. Just hang at your table until they leave

People were out on the balcony but I think you can see the fireworks from any seat. We had a dinner reservation at 8:45 I think, so perfect viewing time. We also requested a fireworks table, though it's not always guaranteed.

The last time I ate there we had a crappy view of the fireworks so not all tables have a great view.

You could try to get reservation for about an hour before the fireworks. That way you can either be finishing up your main course or having dessert when they go off.
