Who wears glasses?

I have to wear glasses everyday. I like the idea of LASIK and have a consultation scheduled for later this summer, BUT of course my glasses broke last week on vacation so I need to get a new pair this week. I'd like to get something that's on trend and stylish, but, does that mean the big round ones that the supermodels are wearing, lol...? I'm not sure I can pull that off.

My current pair are Fendi, very simple black and white frame with the "F F F" logo on the sides of the frames. I don't know how to upload a photo but if you click on my avatar photo, you can see them

I searched on Pinterest but thought I'd ask for some real like inspiration also.

I wear my glasses every day.  I don't necessarily go with what's "on trend" because it doesn't always work with my face.  I would suggest you go to a local optician and try frames on.  The couple of times I have ordered online, I haven't been happy with what I purchased.

I go to Lenscrafter. They take our insurance and have a nice selection. I just look for frames I like, not necessarily the brand since most are made by Luxottica anyway. I definitely learn towards a cateye.

I do! I've got 2 pairs that I rotate based on what I need to wear them for.

I buy them based on how they look on my face.  Both were 'in style' when I got them but I was more concerned about how they made me look instead of making a fashion statement.  I can't pull off giant lenses or anything too rounded so when that is the current style I have a really hard time finding something I like.

Since you plan on getting lasik (best thing ever!!), I would recommend something cheap and simple since you won't be wearing them for long!

I don't wear glasses 100% of the time since I have contacts. Probably 20-30% of the time. I will say, I wear them more now that I like my frames. I just got these a couple months ago.

I buy them online ( eyebuydirect). They are cheap, great quality and stylish. I wear them all day and usually fall asleep wearing them. If you know your general style and what works on hour face, buying online is easy.

my everyday frames are morgenthal frederics and I LOVE them.  However, my next pair will probably be warby parker.  I ordered my RX sunglasses from there and they are great. Really impressive for the price!

I would second Warby Parker. My husband and I both purchased glasses from them - they have a store location near us - and we really like them and they are cheap. They also take FSA money.

I have ray bans and I love them. They're stylish but comfortable and classic.
