Overrated/underrated Disney stuff

underrated:
HS The shows are amazing, there's so much character interaction and the food is infinitely better than MK
Dining plan. I'm not doing it this time, but we really enjoyed being able to splurge.

overrated:
character dining. add me to the 'no more buffets' camp. the girls much preferred bumping into character stops in epcot, etc.

All of our family in CA feel the same way.  Honestly, even though I moved from CA to FL and can go on it, I am still a little bitter about the rides that were moved here from DL.

Where do you eat at HS? I've never found anywhere there that I like, esp counter service, and I thought that was a common complaint about the park

Mama Melrose, Starring Rolls and any of the places across from Beauty and the Beast (bbq, turkey legs and some interesting burgers).

Sci-fi drive in is my favorite. Dark, cool, kids are entertained by old sci fi movies, best burgers and cherry cokes. This is the only place we eat at HS

DH and I ate there once and our meals (he had ribs- I don't remember what I got) were awful. And we are not picky either! Could have been just a fluke but we haven't wanted to go back since.
