Morning!

Slept in a bit today and it was glorious. My dad and I installed a ceiling fan and blackout curtains last night, I slept better than I have in weeks.

I'm going to make myself go to the gym today and then we head to Germany this afternoon. This trip will be so hard but I'm glad I can be there for H and SIL.

Going to the space needles for dinner tonight with my dad, sis, and nephew. I'm SHOCKED that we got an invite. It will be a long, busy day (as I don't get to go home first), but it will be nice.

I have so much to do tonight and tomorrow morning. We are having 11 family memebers over tomorrow night. We did a lot of cleaning yesterday, but there are still some things. I need to get a cake and a gift for my bro who is flying in tomorrow ON his birthday. I need to finish the decorations for Tman's last day of school. I started cutting out the suns last night, but didn't get very far. I need to be at Tman's school by like 11am tomorrow, so I will have a few hours in the morning to get everything up, but it's going to be a rush.

I'm in a wedding tomorrow so I am spending the time that Kieran is in preschool pampering myself. Already got a haircut and I'm getting a pedicure right now. So nice to be able to do these things for myself now. We leave for Roche Harbor after Donovan gets out of school, trying to beat the bad traffic through Everett.

Not to freak you out too much, but we went up to Mt. Vernon last weekend.  Left at 4 and it took us three hours.

Finished my last class for my Brochure design class. I still don't feel like I learned anything in that class Having a no confidence in my art skills day after looking at just a tiny sample of some things on Behance. Also slept like poo, dreaming about fighting all these evil ghosts and I'm really tired and sleepy today. Only put 1 shot of espresso in my drink this morning and wish I had gone for two, but was afraid it would make me jittery, unfocused. Instead I'm dropping closey eyes unfocused. At least tomorrow is only a half day for me and I get to fly down to spend the weekend with my best friend, I'm excited to see her.

georgeharrison, you are so awesome for decorating the house up for these occasions for Tman. Definitely things he will remember when he is older.

Nothing exciting around here. I got to head to Target and look around a little after J's therapy. Now i'm just waiting for nap time and remembering I need to work out... and start H's fathers day gift. sigh/

The funny thing is that I'm not creative AT ALL and I don't do a good job.  So if he marries a super creative lady, he might look back and be like, "My mom's decorations were always so crappy."  Ha.  But at least he loves it now as a kid.  He thinks every time I put up streamers that it's a party.    Just the "Whoa cool," when he first sees it is enough for me to want to do it on the regular. 

Unfortunately, our "viscious breed" doberman is scared of the balloons.  Haha.

dana86 , way to be on top of the Father's Day gift!  I haven't even thought about that day yet.

Man, the last two days have been busy at work, and I'm taking the Noon-ish slow-time to pop in.  So, when I started here, there were five people in my department.  Last May (of 2015) one person left, and a 23-yr old got a promotion over me (she has been with the company 3 months longer than I have), and we hired another person.  Last August and September two more people left (the two most senior/supervisor people) - and they haven't been replaced yet. So it's been the three of us for almost a year doing the work of five people.  The person we hired last May was hired for a new role at a different office of our company, and it will be just me and the 23-yr old starting in July.  We're having a meeting tomorrow, and I'm hoping there is something positive to come out of it - promotion, more $$$, finally hiring someone else.  

Between this and the exciting/infuriating Presidential Election Cycle has me craving lots of these:

kwpnjumper55, with the weather not being amazing this weekend hopefully traffic won't be too bad! Of course if traffic is terrible and the ferry line isn't bad you can always drive up Whidbey to Anacortes it's kind of a catch-22. Roche Harbor is super pretty though

I started my blood draws and they have all been normal thus far so I am hoping to not have a giant baby... 10 more weeks to go. Nothing too exciting for me right now just working
