Weekend Plans?

Does anyone have something fun going on?

It is going to be highs of 99 every day this weekend, you guys  (wilted)

Today I am hiding inside. I went shopping and now I'm hanging out at the coffee shop just to get out of the house but not be outdoors. Tonight, we're grabbing dinner out and then just chilling at home.

Tomorrow, my parents are visiting for the weekend as an early bday celebration for DH (his bday is next Wed). We have no idea what we're doing in the miserable heat. Besides dinner reservations, previous outdoor plans have been scrapped. I might get my mom's help in picking out a new color to paint out bedroom.

Sunday: Hang out with my parents, and then after they leave, we have tickets for Book of Mormon in the evening!

Ugh, it's super hot out here too, and they keep saying on the news that it's going to cool off tomorrow. I just pulled up the weather to see...it's going to drop allllll the way to 93.

Tonight: M and I are going to my sister's house for dinner. My BIL is an amazing cook, and he's making us completely homemade spaghetti and ice cream. I can't wait!

Tomorrow: I have to teach an early yoga class, then lunch with my mom and the same sister, then I'm hoping to squeeze in a pedi.

Sunday: Teaching my regular yoga class and we'll hang out at the tap room for a while after.

I posted briefly about my house issue (my stucco is falling off), so I need to super clean my bedroom so I can have some contractors come over to look at the balcony. This will probably take all weekend too since every time I think about what a dickface my builder is being, I have to take a break to scream.

It's sooooo hot here too. H is away so laying low.
I'm at my parents tonight. No plans for the rest of the weekend.

Saturday: Yoga in the morning and family gathering with H's family in the afternoon.

Sunday: Relaxing day off or maybe working on our bathroom demo.

Hey, all!
It's over now but the weekend was busy for me!

Friday there was a birthday party for the H's boss's wife that we went out to with an 80's theme.
Saturday I had some items to pick up, a little cleaning, and then we went to another friend's house in the evening for drinks.
Yesterday was my cousin's graduation party so went to see my family in the afternoon. Started packing and prepping for our trip, and making a checklist for the things we need to do this week to get ready.

Bunch of horrible news reports, especially the Orlando mass shooting. Sort of tainted the fun stuff we did, but trying to keep perspective and keep hope that changes will be made in efforts to prevent these horrifying things from happening.
