Can I get some gate recs?

My mom has a basset hound, and they need to keep him confined to the downstairs level of the house. Does anyone have any recommendations for a gate that will stand up to that size dog?

My two dogs have done well with generic, $10 baby gates that I picked up from Target...but they also don't mess with the gates much.

We have a basset and use the metal aspca babygate they sell at walmart. He eats the wooden ones....

We have a white version of this one. It's an extra tall because I have two Great Pyrs and a Newfoundland, but they've never gotten through this one. It also works well for my toddler now.

My Newf jumped over the pressure mounted gates.

I also have the cheapo pressure mounted baby gates from target. I had to make sure that the side you lock is away from the dogs, because Heidi learned use use the lock as a sort of step to climb over when she was a puppy. They could totally climb over it or knock it over if they really wanted to, but they seem to respect the gate.
