Is this crazy.. adr related

January 15th-20th trip. Right now we are leaning towards dvc rental. Would it be crazy to make a room only reservation for the 15th-20th, make adr's and them cancel the room? I really want 1 or 2 pre park opening reservations at mk but worried I won't get any if I don't have a room reservation since I will have to book day by day and not the whole trip at once

That does not seem worth it to me. When we went in Oct I ended up with everything I wanted but I did not get all of them right at 180+.

Once you have the DVC rental secured you can make ADRs like normal. You link the # on your MDE account. At least I'm 90% sure I did that.

This is what we just did. I was able to book ADRs for our whole trip on the first day. We have a DVC rental.

Your room only DVC rental will work just like a regular room only reservation.

Wait, I think I misunderstood the question. I agree that DVC rental works like any other onsite booking. I thought you were talking about it you went off-site.

I agree about the DVC part.

However if you were going to do such a thing for whatever reason, I'd make it for like 10th-20th and book your ressies asap. When you stay on site you get 180 + 10days so you can book your whole trip at once.

Sorry guys I was really confused. I didn't realize with dvc you could book 180+10.
