Explain Disney Vacation Rentals

Since we're going with my mom and will need either a one bedroom or two studios, would a rental make more sense? Trip is Jan 2017. Should I wait 10 days to see the 2017 rates from Disney before booking? Also, what's the best site to use if we go the rental route.

At this date, you're probably only going to get Saratoga Springs or old key West (which I loved). It can be way cheaper for sure, especially if you were thinking deluxe or moderate.

I joined mouseowners to find rentals. David's dvc is the big one, but they cost a little more.

I would contact David's DVC rentals. You may be able to get AKL or OKW.

You make the contract through David's & they protect your $$$ if the owner backs out last minute ( which almost never happens).

Seems like there's plenty of availability (total off peak time) - they're proceeding to find someone with the points.
