I stayed out too late last night, which in my old lady partying ways means midnight, lol. Although if I hadn't had to work today, I would have shut it all down with my friend. Sometimes it sucks to have to work Saturdays! Maybe someday I won't have too...
3rd date tonight with a guy from Tinder. Dinner and drinks, so it should be fun.
I don't have any plans this weekend. I just plan on relaxing and maybe do some de-cluttering. Since taking on more responsibility at work, due to the partner leaving, I've become a borderline neat-freak and detest clutter.
My 4 year old niece spent the night last night. She is still here. I have watched every episode of Dora, Paw Patrol, and a Barbie movie 3 times. Every time she wants to tell me something she says "Aunt ABCDEFU," then says a sentence. Two seconds later, "Aunt ABCDEFU,...."
She also just informed me that firebirds live in Russia. She is so random! I love it! LOL!

The older I get, I find myself becoming neater and owning less as well. I am going through my closet on Monday and donating all the clothes I don't wear and I'm going through my bookshelf and getting rid of all the books I never plan on reading again. I love purging my life of stuff I don't want/don't use.

Yes! Since buying a Kindle, I no longer accumulate books. The only books I kept were college books in my field. I donated the rest to my local hospital. I have more clothes than I would like, but I am hopeful I will fit in them again in the near future. One thing that used to be a big problem was mail and paperwork. Now I chuck that ish, or file it in my filing cabinet.
I used to save everything, but now I'm all "when in doubt throw it out!"
I bought a tv stand from an online yard sale site. My SD came with me so we could take his truck. It's nice quality and am very pleased with it. I'm currently getting my car oil changed and inspection, then back home. I need to clean the house and do laundry, as well as set up the new stand. XH is picking DDs up around 5. I'll be sad for them to leave after having them for over a week, but I'll get them back again on Monday.

I feel like that's a thing at that age. My friend's son went through a phase around that age where every.single.sentence started with, "Hey TR, you know what?" And you HAD TO say, "What?" Before he would finish his sentence, lol m
I've gotten so used to relaxing and being lazy in my downtime that doing anything seems like a huge effort. Tonight I'm going to go see one of my fav bands in concert and I'm like ehhhhh my couch looks just as good.

It's been a good weekend so far. Tomorrow we'll be driving home from my mom's and I wish I had an extra day to just relax at home! I ate so much seafood..i'm stuffed!
Oh man, I was kind of not interested based on our phone call and wasn't expecting much, but I actually really liked him a lot in person. He's super cute too and just really nice. We also seem to be in the same place in life (attitude wise) and he seems very positive and appears to communicate well. I think this was actually the first date I have been on since being married where I was actually excited and didn't want the date to end and then feel really excited to see him again. Usually I get tired and exhausted and force myself to keep on or giving more chances to see where things lead so this was very refreshing. He's very old school, no smart phone, no real communication through text. I really liked that a lot actually.
And how weird I had no expectations and almost didn't think it was going to be worth my time!
