I agree!  Don't do that.  I'd just mess them up a bit more and swipe them to the side.

My hair is wavy/curly naturally. Curly in the front, wavy in the back. LOL I have noticed since I stopped straightening it that the right products are crucial. There are still days when it is a complete disaster and nothing will help it
