And I'm regretting it.
My mom asked if I got a perm too then said it looked like I was wearing a wig. I feel like it's a cross between lil orphan Annie and Reba Mcintire.
It's okay when it's still wet, but once it dries completely it gets reaaaaally floofy and frizzy. I haven't really had to deal with curly hairstyling in years. Halp.

It looks good! The pic looks great but if you have frizz days some product will go a long way. Hopefully some curly hair girls chime in with their favs!

Give yourself a little time before you decide you hate it. That's a big change! For what it's worth, I like it. It strikes me as edgy vintage, rather than Reba. lol
I think it looks cute! Have you tried straightening it? Maybe run some anti frizz oil through it?
The good thing is that the bangs aren't too short and neither is the rest of it, in a month or two you could side sweep the bangs and the length might start to weigh down the waves.

Edgy vintage is the perfect description! I do think it looks good on you.

I think you were made for bangs but agree that a softer brow would look great. It's hard to see the exact style with the wave but if you find it still doesn't suit you after a few days, a couple little tweaks could make a huge difference. I think short hair will look beautiful on you.

I think it's adorable and edgy at the same time. Years ago, I got like 10 inches of hair cut off and it took me weeks to figure out how to style it. I think a little curl product (I love Moroccan Oil curl defining creme) and dry with a diffuser or just air dry will help tremendously. Also, even though your natural curl is more pronounced, using a curling iron will help control the curls and give them some definition.

I think it's great! I agree that with bangs a softer brow would make the whole look awesome. Your mom is a biotch and your hair is fun and sassy. Making a big change like that is always nerve wracking.
I love the cut. I think you look fantastic. I use oils in my curls to help with frizz.
Can I ask which ones?
My favourite is: NUXE Huile Prodigieuse (because you can also use it on body/face plus it smells nice). I just use a few drops, spread between my hands and rub in when damp (and sometimes again later if needed). Really absorbs well.
A less expensive product that I got from CVS last summer that works well: argan oil
