Well, here we go again!

So excited for you, kwpnjumper55, but sad about Dusty.  Did you tell your parents yet?  What about the boys?  Reactions?  Spill it!

My weekend was pretty good.  Had a housefull on Friday when my bro got into town.  It's kind of a weird situation.  He's my step-bro and he's 3 years older.  We were pretty close as kids/teenagers, but after he graduated from high school, he kind of disappeared and the relationship went away.  After college, we kind of reconnected.  He worked with my boyfriend and I worked with his wife, so we hung out a lot.  But then he moved to Texas like 15 years ago and that was kind of the end.  His wife, I don't think, liked our family very much, so she certainly didn't encourage a relationship.  They got divorced like a year ago which is really too bad, but my bro came up with his kids on Friday and it's so amazing to get to know him again and stuff.  He and James spent some time talking and getting to know each other and that pleases me so much.  I think they would be good friends if my bro lived here.  He leaves Friday and is staying with my parents 75 miles away (we went up there for the weekend), so I don't know if I'll get to see him much/at all before he leaves again, but I am thankful for the time we did have.

As a kind of funny story, I was a tom boy growing up and always played football with my bro and his friends.  I wasn't too bad...not afraid to get hurt or dirty and reasonably athletic.  On Saturday, he was like, "let's play football."  You guys, I'm so out of shape and so old and a little chubby, and I was SCARED. I was going to embarrass myself so bad with this.  But we played and I scored SEVEN! touchdowns!  SEVEN!  I think his kids were kind of shocked and my bro just laughed and was like, "That's so awesome."  haha.  Tillman was like, "Really mom"?  I thought for sure I'd be sore the next day, but I was okay.  Ha. 

Had something concerning happen on Friday that sent me into panic mode all weekend, but got resolved this morning.  My stomach was so upset because of the anxiety that I hardly ate all weekend.  Now that it's resolved, I'm starving to death!  We didn't go shopping this weekend, though, because we were gone, so I don't have much to eat.  Boo.

Only working today and tomorrow this week.  Score!  Tman is home alone today and tomorrow.  AHHHH!  But James is getting off at 11, so it's less than five hours.  Still scary.  We wrote a small list of chores, he has 5 math problems, needs to read for 15 minutes, and needs to write me a short, at least 8 sentence, story in his best writing.  We are mean parents.  Ha.  But kids lose a lot during the summer and we would like to limit that loss and I want him to have something to do besides just video games or tv. No stove or oven, no climbing, and no going outside expect to take the dogs potty. I'll still be nervous until James gets home.

Tman goes to his first of three summer camps on Sunday.

Well, I thought MiMi just had a cold with a lot of congestion, but she might have pink eye. GREAT!
Working part of the day, then taking MiMi to the doctors. Not much else planned today.
I was hoping to take a partial mental health day on Thursday, and work a half day. We will see how that goes.

Well, we had our first party at our house. 45+ people. It was great. Lots of fun. It rained on and off. We had a spider man bouncy house. I'm glad I didn't let my MIL tell me how much food to get. She thought one Costco tray of those pinwheel wrap things would be enough. HA I bought the croissant sandwiches too. We also had chicken wings, salad and a bunch of california rolls MIL thought 60 pieces would be enough. I kinda just let her do her thing, and got extra on our part.
I wish I had more joy in the days leading up to the party. I was pretty much super anxious for like the 5 days leading up to it.

Now it's Monday and I'm super anxious looking towards next weekend. Father's day weekend. UGH.

Had a lovely weekend down with my best friend. Weather ended up being warm but not deathly so (since I had packed for cool and rainy). Miss her so much!

My sleep is back to not being restful so I'm really tired and need to actually get on the ball about doing a sleep study. While I was gone, H did a great job cleaning up the kitchen, assembled the new cat litter box thing he ordered, and bought a carpet cleaner and cleaned the living room! I should go away for weekends on my own more often

I had a good weekend that still going as I'm taking a few days off for my birthday. I'm planning a bridal shower with one of my work friends and it's finally coming together after all of our brainstorming. I have lunch plans today in Seattle and running errands this afternoon which includes going to Victoria's Secret yeah yeah!

Hey all. Not much going on here. I was supposed to go see the bestie today but my kids were monsters at bedtime last night so I took the trip away I got all of H's fathers day gift cut out this weekend while he was gone. So I'm going to start sewing it up today, I also got some snicker doodle blondies made up to ship to FIL tomorrow. Now I just need to make my dads stuff and I am set.

In other random news. I had my first period in almost 2 years. Talk about LAME!! But on the bright side the watermelon I planted in the garden sprouted up!

I am in orientation today. I am having fun. I am in orientation with 5 other girls.

dana86, isn't watermelons kind of hard to grow? Mine never made it, so I might just be bad at growing food... congrats on sprouts!

minion, glad the party went well. I hate trying to figure out foods it always seems like you either have a crap ton or never enough.

Today is good. This weekend H finally cut the boards for both my shelves and the bed frame and then we argued about how to use the Kreg, but I was right so we drilled the pocket holes too.

So I just need to sand and stain so projects are getting done. We also found out our neighbors are having a boy 1 month after us so that is exciting too!

2 of the kittens just left for their new homes, I know they will be happy! We are keeping Simba.

spa, I have no clue lol Its my first year trying them but it was looking like they weren't even going to sprout but they have so we will see. I have a few of my "easy" things that haven't even sprouted this year so its keeping me guessing
