I recently moved to the puget sound, and I'm looking for insight on an upcoming trip. In a few weeks I'm flying out of Seatac. I was wondering if anyone was familiar with am rush hour on I5 north between Tacoma and Seatac. Will it be bad around 430 am on a weekday? Or will that be early enough to miss it? I want to be at the airport by 5, but really don't want to leave any earlier than I have to. Thanks, if anyone has any knowledge!

If something unexpected happens, move over to 99 and that will be just fine, too.

I moved here in 2009 from Maryland. Definitely a big change but I haven't missed the east coast at all since moving here.
