And lol that you have 15 more years of control over this. You have maybe 2, then she will start voicing her own hair opinions and you will let her because her hair should not be your hill to die on.
Just don't give her bangs. My mom gave me bangs and it was horrible. Also, don't let her get a perm at 18 no matter how cute she thinks curly hair is.
Agreed. I tell all my friends with young little girls to avoid the temptation to do bangs. It's so hard to resist sometimes, but don't do it!! And the perm! OMG! I have bone straight hair and my mom allowed me to get a perm when I was 12. At the hair cuttery.
Nope. Well, I don't think it would. For the most part I've only ever had B's hair trimmed, never styled. But her hair is curly so I don't know if that makes a difference. I think if you just have them clean up the ends it'll look perfectly fine.
I wish it was curly and I do think this makes a difference. C's is fine and straight. And scraggly. LOL.
My youngest dd's is like that. It looks best when it is cut shoulder length. Of course, now she is 14 and doesn't want it cut short. Her problem to take care of now.
The girls have matching bobs and they're super cute and easy to maintain. Overly long scraggly hair on little girls is a major pet peeve of mine.

On ANYONE OMG
My own hair is getting borderline. I was telling my hair stylist friend that I'm straddling a line right now between healthy, long, thick hair and scraggly "what is she doing?!" hair. Time for 2-3 inches to come off!
I trim my girls hair myself, even my 13 year old and I've been known to give one or two the Cletus simpson bang by accident but it grew fast. I'm not taking 4 girls + myself to the salon every couple of months. Mm mm..
I'd take her in and ask them to trim as much as they need to so that it has shape. This is what I always do wth M and her hair always looks good after. I DO take her to places that specialize in kids cuts and I think that helps!

I loooove big bows. Lucy used to, but now only when she's cheering. Unless it's this cheetah print neon color monstrosity that I THOUGHT said "team work" bc I was exhausted and had both her and the baby with me by it actually says TWERK TEAM (crying)
