It's a SOCK BUN. She did love it! Baton was her favorite. FOLLOHWed by ballet, and THEN tap. She performed a spastic tap dance for me. I didn't realize she was taught by Elaine Benes. The dance moms and I sat around talked about how big of PITAs girls are. I feel we are bonded.
Pinky started last week and needs a $300 twirling costume because I'm a dimwit who thought they said it was $100 if pinky wanted to do core. So I said okay. Newp, it's a $100 deposit. ::cries::

Ooooooooo that sucks. Kristen wants GYMNASTICS and CHEERNASTICS too. No.
This is her third year. I kind of feel like a sucker for not saying no when I realized my mistake but IDK, it was intimidating, yo! lolol We can afford it though since I don't have to have the rest until the costume comes in but ugh.
ombligo, I expect more pics of your adorable dancer in the months to come, especially when recital time rolls around. I loooooooove me some ballerinas.
Kiddo wants me to sign her up for dance again now that she's back with me (officially three days, four in one more minute) but we just cut her hair and I have no idea how we're going to get it into a bun. Waaaaah.
Your kiddo is adorable in her little skirt and bun. For recital I used a bun-making thingy that really kept her hair in place. I found it in several sizes at the dance store where I bought her shoes. It's a plastic/rubber strap with a slit in the middle where the hair goes in, then you roll it and when the hair is all rolled you clip it closed and arrange the hair so it covers the rubber. Et voila, an immovable bun. But it looks like you have much more mad skill at bun-making than I ever could hope to accomplish.
