My day is, obviously, slow and I left my book at home. I'm reading Dark Witch by Nora Roberts. I may end up starting a kindle book too if things don't get busy around here.
I'm looking forward to reading: Me Before You and seeing the movie, The Kind Worth Killing, The Sea of Tranquility, Harry Potter reread, and The Book Thief.
Yes, we'll be hopefully spending the week of 4th of July at a lake house with friends, and a week at the beach in August with my family. I'm trying to talk my sister into a weekend getaway next month too for fun since she's had a rough year.
Crap they're all saved on goodreads, will come back to this one.
My day is going well. My daughter graduates from kindergarten today! I'm currently waiting until we need to leave for the ceremony.
I have about 25 books that I want to read at the moment but nothing really stands out from the others.
No vacations planned, but we are moving to LA in just over a month. I'm hesitant about the move, but I look forward to being able to check out all the new sites!
Quotes:
We always think there's enough time to do things with other people. Time to say things to them. And then something happens and then we stand there holding on to words like if. - A Man Called Ove
Having a grandmother is like having an army. This is a grandchild's ultimate privilege: knowing that someone is on your side always, whatever the details even when you are wrong. - My Grandmother Told Me to Tell You She's Sorry.
Those are some of my most recent and favorite at the moment.
If I could travel anywhere right now I'd go to Paris. My daughter wants to go and I'd love to go back and see her experience Paris.

What is everyone looking forward to reading this summer? Hmm, I'd like to read "Dancing in Red Shoes will Kill You" by Donna Decker and I'm hoping to read "The Duff" as a beach read (only got through half last year so I'm doing a total re-read). I have "After You" and "The Choice" on my Overdrive hold...and if time allows I still want to read "Leaving Time", ideally with the e-book (immersion) as I've heard it's written from different perspectives.
Any fun vacations planned? *Hopefully* going to the Grand Canyon and Vegas for the first time with my husband in late Sept or early Oct, still don't have solid plans. We have 2 mini get aways to Maine in July and August. We work different schedules so no other big plans as he's not typically home on weekends when I'm off.
Favorite book quote(s)? Hmm not sure if I have one?
Finish the sentence: If I could travel to anywhere in the world for one week, free of charge, it would be _________________. Australia or Spain, or why not both? Tried to do Spain this year but couldn't get a solid plan together for what it would cost.
Boring day at work. I have a meeting in a few hours and I was prepping for that but just finished.
I am looking forward to the second book in the Red Rising trilogy. I was looking forward to The City of Mirrors but it finally came up on my library queue and I am listening to it now. I liked the first but was iffy on the second. I am hoping for a good ending.
Only vacation planned is San Francisco for a race that I made into a family vacation.
Any tropical destination where the water si warm and the beaches are clean and gorgeous.
How's everyone's day going? I'm off this week due to VBS, so I've been lounging at home all day doing school work or just playing on the computer before I have to go to class and then VBS.
What is everyone looking forward to reading this summer? Drums of Autumn (only 30+ pages from finishing Voyager!!)
Any fun vacations planned? Sadly, no. Once school is no longer a part of my or my husband's life, we may go somewhere then.
Favorite book quote(s)? "Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times. If one only remembers to turn on the light." -Dumbledore in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
Finish the sentence: If I could travel to anywhere in the world for one week, free of charge, it would it be. Ireland
What is everyone looking forward to reading this summer? I know I've got a stack I'm ready to enjoy during slower summer days. I don't really have anything I'm looking forward to reading which is kind of sad.

How's everyone's day going? -- COLD. Weather widget says it's 1C and I believe it. I cannot get warm, even with both my reverse cycle AND gas heaters on and several layers. But other than that, it's only 9:00 am, so I'm not sure how the day is going to go
What is everyone looking forward to reading this summer? I know I've got a stack I'm ready to enjoy during slower summer days. -- it's winter here, but I don't really plan my reading around the seasons. I had started to catch up with Mary Daheim's Emma Lord mysteries, by abandoned it in favor of a visit with old friends in the Anne of Green Gables series
Any fun vacations planned? -- we're headed up to Melbourne for a long weekend to celebrate Election Night and the 10 year anniversary of when we met in person, but the big trip for me is in October when I'm heading to Quebec for a cruise and then home to NOLA for a few weeks
Favorite book quote(s)? -- hard to say, I quote more movies than books, but the movie quote I have use quite often lately that ties in with the books I'm currently reading is: Plum puffs cannot minister to a mind diseased and a world that's crumbling to pieces.
Finish the sentence: If I could travel to anywhere in the world for one week, free of charge, it would be a small town northwest of Little Rock, AR (because that's where my parents are right now and it's been a year and ½ since I've seen them).
Finish the sentence: If I could travel to anywhere in the world for one week, free of charge, it would be _________________. Australia or Spain, or why not both? Tried to do Spain this year but couldn't get a solid plan together for what it would cost.
It's winter here now, and I think winter is the best season to visit -- fewer tourists, even over Australian school holidays, and the weather is usually decent. And for my money, anything is better than highs in the upper 30s and 40s with no rain or wind in sight. Bonus: it's awesome to do the Barossa Valley tours in the winter -- the tasting rooms are all nice and cozy, some have fireplaces and do the tastings by the fire, and there are fewer people on the tours!
How's everyone's day going? Stressful, work related. And also living in the Orlando area it's just been a tough week.
What is everyone looking forward to reading this summer? I know I've got a stack I'm ready to enjoy during slower summer days. Just trying to finish up some of the series I have already started but haven't finished. I have a goodreads shelf for it
Any fun vacations planned? A couple of long weekend trips planned but we already did our big summer vacation. We went to Poland, Czech Republic, Austria, and Switzerland.
Favorite book quote(s)? This just makes me laugh: "But how the hell was I to know Ben would bring along a gynecological psychic?” (from the last book in Kylie Scott's Stage Dive series)
“If you don't like it, change it, we said, to each other and to ourselves. And so we would change for the man, for another one. Change, we were sure, was for the better always. We were revisionists; what we revised was ourselves.” (Margaret Atwood, The Handmaid's Tale)
Finish the sentence: If I could travel to anywhere in the world for one week, free of charge, it would be Switzerland (again). It's beautiful, it has delicious food, and it's expensive as heck so I'd love to go back for free LOL
