Pirates and Pals Cruise

We just returned from a Disney trip yesterday.  We did the Pirates and Pals cruise and highly recommend it.  My DH, DD and I all really enjoyed.  The characters were great, fireworks, snacks and trivia were all very fun.  I would love to do it again in the future.

I'm on the fence about adding this. I feel like this next trip is the time to do it since its the last trip DD2 is still free for everything!

I think it's something fun to do at a certain age. My son loved it at 4!

I did find the first part in the convention center to be a little odd but he loved it so I rolled with it!

It's a cruise to watch the water parade and fireworks at magic kingdom.  You also get a ton of snacks before and meet Captain Hook and Smee.  Then Peter Pan comes out as you get off the boat.  It was a ton of fun.  My DHs favorite part of our trip.

We did it almost 10 years ago (!) when I was in college, and it's still one of my favorite Disney memories.

I just looked it up on the Disney site. $69 for adults, $41 for kids.

Was it worth the price? That seems very expensive to me for some snacks and watching fireworks from far away...even by Disney standards.

When we went it was $15-20 cheaper. It was worth that to me because DS was in the prime of his Jake obsession. The fireworks viewing was actually really cool, that and the characters were my favorite parts. I'm not a big sweets person so didn't really eat anything.

You're paying for the characters and the 'show' the hosts put on. We've thought it was worth it both times.
