I just wanted to pop in and say thanks to you ladies.

My cousin and I randomly decided to do a week a Disney with our families with less than 3 months of lead time (just got home this morning). It could have been disastrous, but we were well prepared thanks to the the advice I got reading on this board. I would have never discovered WDW prep school, or touring plans without you all, and both sites were instrumental to me as a first timer planning a week long trip for 10 people.

I went in to this thinking it would be a once in a lifetime trip, but I already can't wait to go back. My DD has already picked out the resort she'd like to stay at next, AoA.

What were your favorite character meals? I feel like you were going to a couple while there.

We ended doing a far amount of TS meals, but only one character meal (H&V). It was totally worth it, the food wasn't great but the character interaction was awesome.

DS was completely beside himself.

I ended up cutting it down to H&V lunch, the only other ADRs I had were Beaches & Cream and Whispering Canyon Cafe. We were able to walk up and get tables at Rose & Crown, Skipper Canteen, and Pecos Bill.

How was the skippers canteen? Did they dumb down the menu?
