Dd2 will be 2y3m on our trip. She is a pretty good eater but still just 2. I will get her meals at most quick service but I can't justify getting her a meal at say bog if we are lucky enough to get a res for breakfast. Would I get death glares if I bring her a yogurt tube and banana and then share some of my meal with her?
We share meals and for little ones I might have a little something for before the meal comes, but I wouldn't pack a sandwich or something. Fruit, yogurt or a few crackers would be my limit.
I rarely get small kids their own meal, even at quick service.

I have gotten yelled at before so I say no. Most of the time I ask restaurants for fruit or veggies and rice or even yogurt. They can often provide it even if it isn't on the menu
Eta: ha I didn't realize I clicked on the disnet board. Disregard!j

We brought food for DS (he was a little over 1).
He also ate some food off our plates. We consistently ordered him milk. One night when DS was really hungry and my H and I were getting food we knew he wouldn't/couldn't eat we ordered him food and he devoured it.
Nobody ever commented on us bringing food. We brought crackers, cheese, bananas, blueberries....lots of stuff to sit down meals without a comment or glare.

I would have zero guilt doing this at Disney. Probably even at a table service place. I wouldn't do it outside Disney, but in the parks I don't think they care.
I always have a sunbutter & jelly in my bag at Disney. I can't just grab DS an uncrustable because of his allergies & sometimes.m the heat makes him cranky & he wants to eat something familiar. I don't think I have ever pulled it out in a TS but definitively in a QS
One of our trips was when DD was 13M. She didn't eat much at that point but IIRC ordering her plain milk at a TS was about the same price as a kids meal that included it so we just got the kids meals most times!
I am 99% sure the times I've eaten at sit downs at DisneyLAND they didn't charge for my under 3 year old (she shared my food at Buffetts and at sit down they had a complimentary toddler meal-- it was a scrambled egg and fruit I think)
So would they charge for her?
Either way I think you're totally fine bringing food in
I think the rule is generally that the child can share your plate if they are under 3, but I remember a couple of places just let me order a kids meal for free. I also walked into one place with a baggie full of cereal once and nobody said anything.
