I'm reading Twelfth Night in advance of auditions (which aren't until August, but I'll read it again beforehand). I keep hoping my e-book holds come in, though.
I am grateful for a stable and loving home life. DH and our kitties are a joy to come home to at the end of the day and I know I can count on them for love and support.
I'm reading English Creek for my book club -- it's boring as fuck, and I hate the phrasing and word choices. It's the literary equivalent of unseasoned, overcooked broccoli.

I love that play! What role are you hoping to get?

I'm late here. This weekend I finished "The Cuckoo's Calling" and read 100 pages of "After You" which thankfully is a lot better than I thought it would be.
QOTW: Thankful to be able to go on a vacation trip once a year and thankful for a job that pays well enough to let me save money. I'm also trying to be more thankful and appreciative of my friends even if we don't talk a lot. Unfortunately I lost 2 friends from HS within the last month, both of them I haven't been in as close of touch with. Really makes you appreciate who you do have in your life, and want to reach out just to say hi.

I'd be happy for any of the three ladies if the director goes traditional with casting. I'm probably too well endowed to pull of Viola dressing like a boy, though. I'd love to be Feste if he decides to shake things up a bit. I tend to get cast as the uptight or bitchy characters, so I'd fit Olivia if that were the case.
Wait, NPH's autobiography is a choose your own adventure? Seriously? Is it good/funny/interesting? I wouldn't normally care about NPH, but this intrigues me greatly.

Yes, it's written as a choose-your-own-adventure book. It's really quite a fun idea for an autobiography, and really fun to read.
