uuuuuuuuuugh I had the worst shopping trip today and I'm going to vent here. I went to Ann Taylor, J Crew, Banana Republic, and Loft and couldn't find ANYTHING for a work thing tomorrow for which I really want to make a good impression. And it wasn't like I was hunting for something specific -- I wanted EITHER a top to go with grey pinstripe pants OR a skirt/top combo OR a dress that looked polished and professional. Most of the freaking store inventory was SUPER casual tank tops and linen shorts. And then I swear to god, there were barely any items of clothing in a size bigger than 6. And the sizing at J Crew was all over the place. Similar dresses in the same size, and one was a bit too snug and hit me in all the wrong places anyway, the other one was tent city. wtf. UGH it was so frustrating. I ended up grabbing a top from Dillards that I'm not at all excited about and that is supposed to be hand wash only which will never happen, so it's probably only going to be worn once and then ruined in the wash and I am NOT HAPPY ABOUT THIS SHOPPING TRIP IF THAT HASN'T BECOME CLEAR ALREADY. Siiiiiiiiiiiiggggh.

September. It'll be cooler for sure, but I don't think I want to pack a heavy jacket because the weather could kind of go either way.

This is yesterday's Old Navy 40% off order. It's mostly stuff I already have in different colors. That's the only way I can order successfully from ON. Otherwise I end up with a bunch of weird stuff that neither looks nor fits like it does on the site.

I love this dress. I have it in black, olive stripe, black stripe, that blue color and I want more. It is so comfortable.
