Which hotel

After our Disney cruise we will have the day/night we dock (no idea what time we'd be back to Disney parks) and the full next day/night.

We're staying at the Beach Club for 5 nights before the cruise.

Where should we stay after? Animal Kingdom lodge with a Savanah view or the Poly?

It's hard the know what we'll feel like doing for that one day. Will we be exhausted or will DD be begging for more Magic Kingdom?? I know it's impossible to predict, but WWYD?

A lot of people don't like the theming of the contemporary and GF. Poly has a fun theme with really cool pools.

We went to Hawaii on our honeymoon, so that always brings back good memories, including the fake lei they give you on arrival.

I love taking the boat back to relax before my DD's nap time. It makes her sleepy.

Pools are very nice and it's very pretty at night.

Never stayed at the other monorail hotels so I can't comment there.

No. You can walk to the TTC from poly though so you can grab the monorail to Epcot rather then taking the monorail from the resort to the TTC and then transferring

Animal Kingdom. Not a fan of the Poly; if I want tropical I'll go to Hawaii since it takes the same amount of time to fly there or WDW!

Yeah, Hawaii is 9 hours and Disney is 2.5 for us. Big difference with a toddler.

I don't personally like the Contemporary theming. I'd have a harder time choosing between Poly and GF, but I personally think the Poly feels more comfortable
