I am trying to convince Eric to make a trip for June 2017. I will be us, J who will be 4 and possibly my mom. We (me) are looking at a studio. We just stayed at AKL in a 2bd but decided it is so far out. We would do 2 (maybe 3) days at MK, 1 at HS, and 1 at Epcot.

Standard view is the hardest view to get. 1 bedrooms are slightly easier though to get standard view then a studio standard. What are your dates? Beginning of the month right? I'll keep an eye on the dvc website once June is up for booking.

I'm thinking June 6-11th 2017. When does booking open up?

"Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you've got a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies-"God damn it, you've got to be kind.”
There are sites that list the square footage of the different rooms. I don't mind sharing a studio w/ the 5 in my family but I would't want my husband & I, a kid AND one of our inlaws. Sometimes 2 studios are cheaper than a one bedroom.
If it was with a parent or IL I would spring for the 1 bedroom. There is no way my husband would want to sleep next to my mother. Anecdotes
My mom stayed in the bedroom with us when we stayed at AKL earlier this month plus 3 night in a hotel traveling to and from WDW. I think he would be ok. He's the kind of person "that's only in the room to sleep."
We were able to get a lake view 2-bedroom at BLT at 7 months out. We had requested a standard view but there were none left. I think there's a very limited number of standard view rooms because they're basically just rooms on the lower few floors.
