I did all the laundry last weekend, and put away ALL my winter clothes. Now it's cold and raining. I'm swamped at work. I haven't been managing my time wisely. Hopefully today, I can get most of it done.
Almost Friday! YAY!
@lauralynne - Hopefully MiMi and I will be able to find your booth at Greenwood.

Good morning! I was running late this morning so my hair is in a ponytail #professional. Ha!
I'm working a half day in the office and then from home the rest of the day.
I had an opportunity present itself at work in NH, after talking in depth with H, I'm going to have to turn down the opportunity as we would prefer to be a bit further west than that. I'm sure you're all getting sick of my career complaints, but I'm really needing something different. While my perks are amazing, they're not helping me grow and I am missing that aspect. Ugh.
Today is my Friday! And started off off-kilter. Left late and then just as I got to the early part with no turn-around, I discovered I left my phone at home so had to do an awkward way to get home to nab it. Kept getting stuck behind slow people, decided since I was already late to swing through drive through for coffee. Eh, oh well, work is slow anyway. Headachey again today, i blame hormones and neck and the right monitor's crappy res.
Meeting went well with friend/client, my favourite design was hers as well. Now to actually do digitally and pick some fonts and colorize it. Got home and was suddenly listless. Made dinner and ate watching some voltron then turned off the tv and just stared at the ceiling while lying on the couch for over an hour. Finally decided to at least get ready for bed so if I feel asleep then I wouldn't have to wake up to take out contacts. Of course, that woke me up more but still listless. Suddenly remembered I had 3 auctions ending on eBay, went to check and they had ended 3 hours earlier but I won 2/3.
Tonight is filling up the car 7 getting allergy pills at Costco, then home to laundry, packing for weekend trip, and trying to neaten up the house a bit so it's not so embarrassing to think of the cat sitters coming in.
Hello. I am just chilling for a bit with little man suctioned to me. He is either getting a tooth or having allergy issues and just wants to suck. Its our early morning so all the munchkins are kind of running short fused and i'm just trying to stretch them out till nap.

sotally tober, I wear my hair in a ponytail every third day It goes with my hair washing cycle. I should probably learn how to do a decent bun or something else. I don't mind reading about your career complaints, it's nice to know that other people aren't 100% happy at their workplaces and that other women want and expect more!
I am in a straight-up funk. I'm getting things completed that need to be done at home and work, but everything feels so blah. This week is going by incredibly slow. I hope my do-nothing-lazy weekend recharges me, and I get a little more pep in my step next week.
Hello! Work has been super busy today, one of the girls is out today & tomorrow, so it'll be hectic.
Had a great time with K last night. We met for happy hour, went to a comedy open mic, and then to the Columbia Tower observatory. It was nice. I like that he's full of ideas of things to do, and pretty laid back.
Tonight, I'm planning on just snuggling with the Fitzy. Pizza sounds amazing, but I have stuff to make at home, that I should use up. Damn responsibility.
I typed out a whole long rant, but I feel like I was sounding petty. So... I'll shorten it to say I'm irritated that one of my girlfriends husbands always tags along to our get togethers.
dana86, he does. I mean, I really do like him. But, dang. It totally changes the dynamic when he's there. It's gotten to the point that it's rare I see her without him and/or her daughter. Which is totally fine 90% of the time. But it gets old too. He does stuff without her all the time. I think it's just that he wants in on the fun too. We're pretty awesome. Haha. It's just frustrating.

I have a friend who has a husband who tags along a lot (my H does too, but not quite as much), we started blatantly labeling some stuff as Ladies Dates when we start organizing gtgs. That seems to have helped some.
I woke up late, then the light was out at work, then the hamster cages (gate reader) was out which meant a 45 minute waddle to my desk vs a 10 minute waddle... then my computer gave me the blue screen of death.
Heap on that no one is coming to work makes for a looooong ass thursday
