DH and I share a walk-in closet but I use about 90% of it. I keep all my fall/winter clothes in bins, and then when the spring/summer season is over, I wash and package up my clothes and move my fall/winter items in. I don’t have enough room in the closet to keep all my clothes year-round.
Are there any spring/summer clothes you wear all year round? I have a lot of cardigans, so I’m thinking I should leave sleeveless tops in my closet (and not bin them up)?

I keep my sleeveless and short sleeve shirts in the closet year round as I wear them under sweaters, cardigans, and suit jackets. I box up shorts, summer skirts, sun dresses.

Ditto this.
In the spring, I box up all my wool sweaters and cords. But for the most part, my tops are 4 season.

I also swap out clothes twice a year even though I live in a mild climate. I put away all my sleeveless tops though. The only thing that stays are jeans, certain pants that can be worn year around and cardigans. I keep a few t-shirts out to wear under sweaters too.

What do you guys do?
I think thats generous of you to give him 10% of the closet. lol. We just moved and the master bedroom walk in was automatically mine. He didnt even bother.
I like wearing tank tops under cardigans all year round. So I keep those out. I think that about it as far as what stays out all the time.
My closet used to be in the 2nd bedroom which is now the baby's room. It was annoying because I found myself having to go in there often when he was sleeping. I'm not a fan of the way the closet is set up in the master, so we came up with this solution:
It doesn't look pretty, but I love it! Having all my work clothes at my fingertips and so easily visible has made mornings so much easier.
So I keep my less worn, casual, and off-season stuff in the baby's closet, and my every day stuff on this rack.
And I have many items that I wear year round. I still wear skirts, I just wear tights with them. Tanks I wear under cardis or jackets.
