My 180 day mark was yesterday so today I was just playing around on the Disney web site and booked us a table at Cinderella's Royal Table for the last night of our trip!
But now I'm reading more about it and I think I may have actually just prepaid for the whole thing in advance? I didn't think the screen looked any different than the regular reservation screen but I admittedly just clicked around without paying much attention.
The problem (well one of the problems) is I had already booked Ohana that night as an early special goodbye to Disney dinner option that I figured we would go to after naptime and then decide if we wanted to head back to MK.
I assume I could call Disney and cancel and get my money back but maybe I should keep it?
If I already paid should it show up somewhere in my cart or reservations on the Disney site? I'm not going to stress it too much if I'm not out any money yet.
Do you have the dining plan? If not it should have charged, but cancelling will refund your money.
Yes. Okay I looked again and it says this:
Your reservation will be guaranteed by using your Disney Dining Plan Entitlements. Your MasterCard ending in XXX will not be charged, unless your party fails to show up for the reservation.
So I "paid" in advance in that they know I will use my plan but I could wait until the week of and decide I don't want to go, right?

The Royal Table is pretty much just a restaurant and the "Princesses" walking from table to table giving autographs and you can take pics with them. Other than that there is no entertainment.

Ok good to know. Since we are going during such a busy week I thought maybe having an ADR in the MK was better than having one at a resort but 7:15 is later than we usually eat dinner and my tentative plan was to just have a nice meal and then decide if we wanted to head back to MK for the night instead of arranging my day so that we are there for dinner. Plus I already have Akerhaus booked if I decide we want princesses.
The breakfast was decent but kind of insane when you think about the cost. I liked the experience better at Akershus lunch (parade was adorable, wine.)
MY daughter and I enjoyed CRT, but since your kids are younger and boys, I'm going to guess it won't be as meaningful to them. We also did it combined with Bibidi Bobbidi Boutique, so that added the fun. I enjoyed the food, although it certainly wasn't worth the money, since you're paying for the experience. My husband didn't come with us so we saved some money that way.
We ate at O'Hana last week and the food was good. But our reservation was for 6:50 and we weren't seated until 7:30. We ended up not being finished until 9:15. It ended up taking too long for my boys and they were antsy by the end.
The banana bread pudding though is SO GOOD! And my picky FIL liked the food too, which says a lot.
