No, because I'm cheap. We bought little "gifts" from the dollar store and 5 below and left them for the kids each night (one of us would sneak back after we left for dinner). Buying and/or making something for 20+ other families is too much for me to handle.

No. I have enough junk in my life. I don't need more junk from other people. We did do the door magnets though. They are a must-have. We loved coming back to our room every day with them there.
we've done 2 disney cruises. we didn't do a fish extender group on either one. i enjoy planning trips... but i just don't want to worry about taking stuff for 15-20 other families. and i don't need more stuff from them either LOL we definitely do the magnets though! on our first cruise, the TA we booked through made us magnets with our names on them.. plus one with the name of the ship and the dates on it. for our second cruise, i made one with the name of the ship and the dates on it. so i plan to keep adding to out collection with ones that say the name of the ship and the dates :-)

No because I don't want to bring an extra suitcase full of crap and I sure as heck don't want to bring one home. I have a strong aversion to cheap useless stuff like that anyways.
We did it once. There were 10 families in our group. We elected to do cabin gifts rather than something different for each family member. I got Disney reusable bags cheap, and little plastic cups and spoons that looked like ice cream cones, and then different kinds of toppings and sprinkles (including Mickey-shaped ones) and some magic shell. So families could go up to the free soft serve and make sundaes. We stayed at WDW for a few nights before the cruise, so I had everything shipped to our resort and then packed the food items in our cruise carry-on. I assembled the bags once we got to our room and delivered them all at once the first night – took about 20 minutes.
We got all sorts of random stuff. Lots of candy. Mini hand-sanitizers, temporary tattoos, a light card with a magnet on the back so we didn't have to use our Key to the World card to keep the lights on, little battery-powered LED night lights, door magnets, personalized water bottles... Some people went all out. A woman who obviously does a LOT of embroidery made a little Star Wars-themed tic-tac-toe set for our son; the pieces were tiny Vader and Yoda heads. Someone sewed a cruise-themed cosmetics bag, which I use all the time. We got little drawstring backpacks from one family, but they weren't very well made so we tossed them (another family, the same one that made the cosmetic bag, made a similar backpack and we kept that one). One family was from Ohio, and they gave out little boxes of candy buckeyes. My son got several of the $1 Crayola play packs. Someone made photo booth props to use in our family photos, but those were unwieldy and got tossed. Everyone knew I had done the marathon that weekend, so I got lots of runDisney and runner stuff – socks, body glide, shoelaces, etc.
Overall, it was pretty fun, and we've kept a lot of the stuff. Having a relatively small group helped.
We didn't. I love crafting but was overwhelmed by the thought of having to take all I made with me to the cruise. However, we loved walking the halls and seeing all the fun FEs people had hanging up and the stuff that people left looked very nice. I had a friend who did a FE group and she absolutely loved it and all the stuff that she received from the group members.
