My cycle is longer-than-average. Usually 35-37 days.
Has anyone else experienced this? Does anyone know what that means?
I JUST started charting, so I'm eager to get some insight from that.
Also, my period has NEVER been regular. Long cycles, spotting mid-cycle, etc. I've been checked out for any physical issues and everything looks good. I've always been curious if there was something hormonal?
Just thought I would see if anyone has had similar issues.
Oh I thought of one crappy thing about it. Someone with an average 28 day cycle will ovulate 13 times in a 12 month period while I'll only have 10. So less chances to get pg and also more waiting since the cycles are longer.
I have ranged from 26-40 days lately and the long cycles are very annoying. I have also been pretty stressed out lately, so I think that may be contributing to my long cycles.

Thanks ladies! I've always wondered about the stress connection with my cycle, too. Sometimes I think it's longer when I've been under more stress/anxiety. I'm hoping charting (and keeping track of my stress level in the notes of my chart) will help me a bit.
totally random lurker here. clicked on the wrong board and decided to read a bit....
i just want to say YAY that i'm not the only one with a weird cycle. i always thought i was the only one... my cycles range on average 38-45 (and has also hit 20's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's)....i've also been checked out by a doc, with no issues. i hate that i ovulate less often than the average person, but i still took 5 months to get pregnant (8 total months, of no BC), and only 4 cycles of active TTC to get pregnant...so good luck!

These kind of stories makes me feel like, relax, take a breath, it'll all work out great

Pre birth control, I was a very regular 35 - 50 days. On Seasonale, my body seems to like the idea of a 5 week cycle (so closer to 35). I'm scared of what's going to happen next.
