Columbus week?

We were planning on going 9/30-10/3 but I realized 10/12-10/16 might work better for us and it's an extra day.

Is it busy/busier then? Or is it still worth it to get an extra day. Really an extra day and a half bc we'd drive up in the am vs pm.

The crowd calendars suggest end of sept to be less crowded.

September/very beginning of october will be significantly less crowded then Columbus Day weekend.

I went Columbus Day week in 2014 and it wasn't really crowded in my opinion. Of course I was with my 15 month old so we didn't plan on doing all the rides. A few we couldn't get Fastpasses for (Adventures with Belle) but I didn't even try until we were in Orlando. I think with proper planning it could be a good time.

I will say this: it was HOT. I didn't expect that. Next time I go in the fall I'm wearing wicking shirts.

Hmm. Yes I looked st all the calendars. We would go the Wednesday after CD. I just want the extra 1.5 days so much more. Sighhh

Wait not actually on CD weekend? Just that week after? It will be slightly more crowded then your original week but for an extra 1.5 days I would. I just wouldn't want to be there actual Columbus Day weekend personally.

Wait not actually on CD weekend? Just that week after? It will be slightly more crowded then your original week but for an extra 1.5 days I would. I just wouldn't want to be there actual Columbus Day weekend personally.

See.. No. We'd go up Wednesday morning (2days after CD). And that's a low crowd day for Epcot which seems to be huge since its F&W. I really want to do Frozen Ever After. So we'd get 5 park days instead of 3 (vs going up front night and leaving Monday).

FWIW we are Fl residents, and are getting annual passes, starting this trip. It's not our first time and won't be our last. I just don't want to go if it's going to be really busy.
