I want to go somewhere new for brunch or lunch on Saturday (after watching Independence Day - Resurgence), and somewhere between Lynnwood and North Seattle.
I hope some of our Northenders can help me out
I do love a good brunch. I'm pescatarian, so somewhere with a couple of decent vegetarian options or seafood would be nice. I'm also down with trying a new spot for lunch that is Mexican, Thai, Indian, or anything else that isn't "brunch" and isn't too tomato-heavy (since I hate tomatoes). We will be getting out of the movies around 12:30 pm.
I'm no help because they ones I liked have since closed and H HATES eggs with a passion so we'd only go to a place that had good potato options for him.

After a wee bit of internet searching, I came across the Diamond Knot brewpub in Mountlake Terrace, and they have brunch.
I'm thinking this is my top-contender right now, unless someone else has an amazing idea. The next plan after brunch is to brewery-hop, and that might make a good first stop

diamond knot it is one of my fave late-night spots..i've never had brunch there, but if it's like dinner, it'll be great. plus, you're a beer person, right? they brew their own (although i'm not sure if they brew in mountlake terrace, they do in mukilteo).

Diamond Knot has a decent brunch. I also love the Watershed in Northgate. I don't know what time either of their brunch ends. My favorite breakfast/brunch places are in Edmonds - Rusty Pelican (there's a location in Mill Creek, too) and Chanterelle.

Everyone keeps telling me that the Rusty Pelican is awesome, I haven't been. I usually sleep in too late for brunches... also I have to put on pants and a bra and that really deters me on the weekend
