Finally Friday!!!!

Yay Friday! I downloaded lots of books on my kindle so I will be reading by the pool all weekend! 

My my surgery has finally rescheduled! Hopefully the insurance company isn't an asshole again and cancel it two days before. I'm ready to get this last thing done, so I can finally leave the last 3 1/2 years of my life behind.

I'm still in Geneva for work; flying home in a couple of hours where I will meet the BF in a bar to watch European football. My country is playing tonight, but I do not give a d* about football...
It should be a good night though.

I have hired a cleaning lady for the first time I left the house and she's coming in tomorrow. My apartment is small, but I am away so much that the cleaning does not get done. She will also iron some clothes.

I agree, lol. And fortunately boss lady is out sick today.

I just ordered my 15 year anniversary gift from work. I was torn between a sound bar for my TV, a mixer (the standing one with a bowl, not the handheld one), or a karaoke machine. I ended up getting the mixer. Looking forward to making a double batch of chocolate chip cookies once I get it!!!

I just arrived in Chicago and am now waiting for my connecting flight to Atlanta. I am flying standby, which is completely new to me...hoping I make the first possible flight! It's still 3 hours away. Ugh. I'll have to find somewhere to entertain myself within the airport.

I cannot wait to get to my friend and start catching up! Then tomorrow, we head to Panama City, FL to a beachfront condo for 5 days. Shut up. I haven't ever been to a beach for more than a couple hours. I'm stoked!

That sounds like an awesome vacation!

DH and I were trying to have a July 4th party this weekend. We had one last year, and it was a blast, but I think we waited until too late this year, and we didn't have any takers. So, instead, we're going to continue working on the pond/water feature in our yard so we can put our yard back together and make it look less like a war-zone.

We're probably going to the reservation to get some fireworks to use next weekend. Our couple-BFFs won't have their kids this weekend, so we're going to have our July 4th party a week later so the kids can join in.

I'm being a lazy bum and lying in bed. Work has been pretty nuts and I think "fingers crossed" everyone has basically checked out for the weekend already. Im going to do my workout and then yoga today. No plans for the weekend and I'm totally fine with that! My mom is going to come watch the fireworks with me. My new eating plan and work out plan really has made me want to stay on track so going out and partying just doesn't have the same appeal right now. After not seeing results earlier this week I realized I am seeing a big difference in my thighs and arms. My damn stomach just refuses to budge. But I am an apple shape so I think that will probably be the last spot to go.

I've been waking up an hour earlier than my alarm is set for, so last night I decided to go to bed an hour later to see what would happen. I woke up 2 hours before my alarm was set to go off. Luckily my coworker is out running errands and she offered to bring me coffee. It's a coffee miracle.

I need to plan a mini-vacation, like a 3-day weekend, soon. I tried to get my roommate on board, but she said she may not be free until September. I'm going to ask around and see if anyone else is interested. If not, fuck it, I'm going with myself in August to anywhere.

I'm taking DS to his first carnival tonight. He's going to have such a blast. We are going to see his first fireworks show on Sunday night too.

Then Monday XH is actually taking him the whole day. So I'm going to a ball game with my dad and sisters. Last game I brought DS with. It was fun, but going with adults only will be so nice.

No big surprise, court didn't go the way xh thought it would and he is blowing up my phone because "it's my fault".

He is supposed to have the kids this weekend, but I see that falling apart rather quickly.

My son has a baseball tournament, so my weekend will consist of baseball and hopefully some relaxing (if the kids go to their dad's). I also want to bbq something good for dinner tomorrow night.

Oooh, also, I'm getting my hair done tomorrow. I asked her if we could do this even though my hair is short and she assured me she can. I'm SO EXCITED!

TGIF!  Planning to get a mani/pedi tomorrow, return a pair of shoes that's too narrow and just hang around.  I'm off Monday and we're going to a bbq/block party of my old friend from NY (that lives here).
