Remind me please? Once you have 2k points from ULTA, you get $125 to spend? And you can also stack with a 20% off coupon? If that's the case I'm going to hold out. I just reached 2k points or may be over now!
Yes, 2000= $125. I stacked mine with my $10 birthday coupon, so I don't see why a 20% off would be any different.

I don't know what took me so long, but I have finally started trying some of the AB products.
I am absolutely in love with the Biore Watery Essence sunscreen. It is absolutely amazing! I also ordered the milk version for times when I am going to be out in the heat and need something more sweat-proof.
I have a feeling I will be ordering more AB products tonight, probably an oil cleanser and a light moisturizer to start. I'll be combing through the AB thread as soon as I get some time.
I was going to buy the Prosecco/Amaretto split pan, but hearing the reports of it being glittery is making me hesitant. I love flowerchild, but I don't need another Champagne Pop.
I cannot wait for the UD All Nighter foundation to come in, so I can grab a sample, I have high hopes for it.

When I returned the becca blush/highlighter, I got the Anastasia glow kit (in sun dipped). Its beautiful! I love it and I think it would work with many skin tones. I also got large the Sephora fan brush (I think #91 or #92) which is really soft and I think I'm going to enjoy using it.
So I'm in Ohio right now and OMG, all of my makeup is SO different in a more humid climate. The shadows are softer and just wetter-feeling. Especially the mattes but definitely the shimmers, too. Same with blush, it has almost a velvety texture instrad of powdery.
My UD primer comes out completely matte and thick in CO, but here it is slicker and has a sheen of moisture coming out of the tube, and it is thinner, too. Lipstick seems largely the same.
It is just so bizarre. I figured humidity would make a difference in application on my skin, but I didn't think it would change how the actual makeup felt. Makes me wonder if my Mac palette that is bone-dry in CO would actually be functional in OH.

Also, what are your thoughts on highlighter on someone who is 60? I thought about getting a highlighter for my mom, nothing with glitter or mega shine. I'm thinking it would work for an evening look, but I really like shine, so I may not be the best judge...

Hey I am in Ohio! How long will you be here- we could have a makeup meet up LOL Pm me!!

If it helps I don't find Prosecco to be too glittery. It looks glittery in the pan but it doesn't once it's applied. I love Amaretto as a nude blush.

I don't see why not. I'm sure plenty of celebrities that age wear it and rock it. I would probably stay away from Becca or UD or some of the lines that go heavy on shimmer, look at some of the more classic lines, like Laura Mercier, Lancome, or Bobbi Brown, to see what they have.

Aww, I wish I could! I'm here for a family wedding and we are booked solid with stuff until we leave. This is what happens when you're part of a family that only gets everybody together about once every ten years, lol.

Sounds like your skin would do really well with a spritz of moisture after makeup application. I use and recommend Evian water.
I just picked up the Ipsy offer for today- it's a shu uemura eyelash curler and oil cleanser for 34$!
I really like my Ipsy bag this month, the too faced primer is wonderful and I love the balm eyeshadow color I got (a matte plum). I think I'm going to cancel birchbox soon, they don't send anything exciting plus no more points.

I randomly got an email about it today. I usually forget to check the site too. I've been wanting to buy this eyelash curler but I'm always wary of fakes on Amazon, so I'm really excited for this now!
Also- they improved their App and it's way better. Much more product information and videos for each product.

I don't think I get emails on their offers (I may have checked/not checked a box though). I didn't know they had an App - showing my age it didn't occur to me they would have one lol. I'll have to get it to try.
Anyone gotten anything good from the Nordstrom sale?
I am thinking I might grab the Anastasia set (still using gimme brow) and the Mac brush sets are tempting me. I am always scared the brush sets quality isn't as good as buying them individually.
I bought a tarte concealer brush that I love a few months ago, but I haven't been able to find it in at least two months. I feel like I have looked everywhere. You know it will show up the second I buy another one.

Shockingly I didn't get any beauty items from the sale. Nothing called to me.
Mac sets always disappointment - the brushes in my experiences never live up to the full size version. Laura Mercier is one of the few brands that I find their travel brushes live up to the quality of the full size ones.

I love Laura Mercier. I just bought the Candleglow palette and it's lovely as you can use everything on your face or eyes, and they are all very light, so would work with more mature skin.

MAC Strobe Cream is nice because it's really subtle and not glittery. You use it as moisturizer under your makeup for glow. I love it for work--I just use it in the spots where you'd normally wear highlighter.

cottoncandy, I also forgot my other favourite - Charlotte Tillbury Wonderglow. You can use it as a subtle highlighter or under your makeup to give a lovely overall glow.
