X/P Watched "2001: A Space Odyssey" on Sunday

I posted this on ML and didn't get much of a reply.  lol  did you see this movie when you were a kid?  : )

My dad took me to see it when I was 8. Talk about a trippy movie. I didn't get it. I remember there was a huge fuss about the movie back in 1968. Well I watched it this weekend, and I STILL don't get it.

Too deep for the shallow mind I guess. lol

I've only seen parts of it, so it really didn't make sense. That's a Kubrick film, right?

I find it highly lol'able that my dad took me to see it, but I think he was expecting a Star Trek sort of movie.
