We have a 5 yo DS. He's super into Star Wars, so HS starts before rope drop so we can get in line to sign him up for that. ( spots fill fast!!) We FP toy story, star tours, tower of terror.... DH likes muppets 3D and we have an ADR for the 50s prime time diner for lunch. We'll see how the rest of the day goes... Whether we take a break at the resort or not. I know we'll definitely head back to HS at night though for the new Star Wars fireworks show...
and muppets, the disney jr show is freaking cute. we LOVE 50s prime time...sci fi is cute too. the shows are great--even the street shows are fun. we like the great movie ride (not sure how your kids do with dark stuff--we've taken our kids at 1, 2 and 4 and they've not been scared yet?? but i could see how many kids COULD be scared)
Rope drop TS Met Woody and Buzz Voyage of the Little Mermaid Met a bunch of Dis Jr Characters FP Star Tours rider swap Muppets 3D Single rider line for dh and I to do Aerosmith Indiana Jones FP (dd2 was def scared of this at 2.5) TOT with rider swap so dd1 could ride twice Beauty and the Beast Star Tours again ADR for Mama Melrose with Fantasmic Package The Great Movie Ride Fantasmic
I'm sure that there's stuff missing. We didn't get a chance to do Frozen so we came back another day (it's DDs' favorite thing at DW).
There are so many great shows that we found it best to space our ride FP and then fill in with the shows. We still haven't seen the Disney Jr one or made it to the dance party, but we want to next year.
My kid was 4 last time and LOVED Star Tours and was so PROUD that he went on ToT but wasn't begging to do it again.
Right now I don't think HS is a full day park. IF JTA is a MUST for your DD then get there early to sign up. IF it's not I would get the three FPs and make it a late start day adding in a few shows and see if you make it to the fireworks OR Fantasmic. It looks like right now you can't do both on the same day.
