Good morning! I'm WFH today...I love when I am able to do this because my house gets cleaned up throughout the day. Right now the Roomba is running and every time I run it, I decide I don't do it enough. Random 7:30am thoughts for you.
Tomorrow AM I have an interview...it's with my current company but in my preferred field, directly - not just working here and there in it. If you have interview vibes to spare, I would love them!

sotally tober, Roomba is my bff! GL with the interview! Will it be with people you already know/work with or will it be a totally different group?
After just yesterday posting about how I'm trying to make my current job home, my old boss emailed me yesterday saying that he just started a new job and they don't have a (my job title) and he's really pushing for it and that he would love to have me. I loved working with this guy and this job would put me back into the industry that I love. It's not an official opening yet or anything, but he seemed to think it was a really strong possibility, and he said we could arrange it so the hours would work for me. I would be reporting to a guy that I worked with at my last company that I did NOT like (the company, not the guy). He had one foot out the door at that time, too. He left like a month after I did. We didn't work together much, but the interaction we did have was pretty good, I think. It's such a small world, though, really, and it's a reminder to not burn bridges. If I had stormed out of there like I wanted to do a million times, it would be a pretty good guess that this dude woudln't want to work with me now.
Preparing Tman for camp this evening and that's about it. I'm so tired, and hope to be able to do some serious resting this afternoon/evening. LAZY.

georgeharrison, Thanks! It is with one person I know and the other I don't. I actually serve on a board with the one that I do know, so fingers crossed that is helpful! Sending you lots of vibes that this opportunity works out for you! Sounds very promising.

minion, YES you can use Roomba on wood floors. It's kind of loud - well, it kind of loud on carpet, too. I love Roomba. Good luck on getting through your list.
I went to bed before 10pm last night, and I feel like a half-way normal person today I am the worst on little/no sleep, and it makes me appreciate and respect all you moms who have not-great sleepers and still manage to be kickass mamas and hardworking career-women!
Morning. Woke up late. Scooted out the door. Grabbed coffee. Connected with minion via FB. Got to work. Now working. Fighting some congestion. May be allergies.
Class tonight. Good night at the barn yesterday. Was able to get out some poles and standards and will work on taking the pony over them on Sunday hopefully. WHEE.. Chiro Friday and a date night with hubby catching up on Big Brother and having Chinese! .

minion, I agree with georgeharrison it is great. They have it at Costco. And, it goes from carpet to hardwoods back to carpet, etc. I just have to do a little prep work for it like pick up the trash can and our counter stools from the floor. It also gets stuck under our TV stand which is annoying, so we have to keep an eye on it.

minion, sotally tober, also like phone chargers and stuff...don't have the cords dangling down. It will eat thos right up. I mean, it doesn't destroy them, but it makes Roomba sad. Ours is from Costco, too.
Another headache day, worst than Tuesday. Woke up with unilateral pain and basically couldn't see out of my right eye. H brought me pills and ice pack and handed me my phone to email work. Slept off and on. Got up around noon to prevent really throwing off my sleep schedule but have to basically keep my right eye squeezed shut as the whole socket is just aching like hell. It must be all neck based as last night right before counseling I could feel a light ache starting in my neck on the right side. I'm currently trying to choke down some yogurt and berries so that I can take some more pills. Damn, had been hoping to get my over-due hair cut tonight but I can't drive so that's out. It's too easy to drift back off to dozing so I have to figure out something to entertain myself and stay awake that doesn't aggravate. Maybe I can watch some Netflix with just one eye.
minion we have a Mint, doesn't seem to work on carpet but works pretty well on our hardwoods. We just need to actually charge it and use it more often.
Ladies, my house is a friggin PIGSTY and I can't stand it!! Have to spend all weekend cleaning but 2 headaches this week bodes very ill indeed.
minion, georgeharrison, sotally tober, I want a roomba. While the whole floor cleaning is a perk (whats the canister capacity of it?) I mostly want it and a kitten that will ride on top of it because I think its hilarious and fun. Even better if its a cat thats dressed in a costume.. maybe a dinosaur!
Nothing exciting here today. I get to go meet someone in a bit in hopes of selling some of H's too small for him clothes. He's been holding onto them for a few years since they are $$ pants (carhartts) and he keeps saying he will fit back in them one day but I'm over the waiting and want to clean out the closet, and make a few bucks in the process. I also put up hounds cage to sell. Its hard to constantly look at it sitting all folded up. I think our other dog is starting to realize she isn't coming back as well. They were together since puppies so its really the first he remembers of being the only dog so he doesn't really want to do things alone, like going outside, eating and such. My hearts hurting for him.

dana86, the capacity is good. I've never had an issue with it filling up....it also goes under our couches, which is nice. It goes over our entire downstairs, I just empty it after each use.
I wish my dog would hop on it, she hates it though. Once, she was in the middle of the floor and came up behind her and grabbed her tail and ever since then she has no tolerance for it.
I'm so sorry to hear about your 4 legged child...you are in my thoughts.

Hi everyone! There was a tornado warning earlier today, it was raining like crazy! Luckily nothing happened where I lived. Hung out with my aunt for a little bit, now am watching Parks and Rec with the cats.
