Hi - just wondering if anyone has stayed at this resort? I'd love to hear your review, if you think the all-inclusive meal plan is the way to go, and if the sugar mill rooms are acceptable as opposed to the villas.
We're planning a very last minute trip for a few weeks from now and the only villas available are a huge price jump up from the more basic rooms.
We stayed next door at the stonefield villa estates but used Jalouise beach and it looks very nice, the food was good too, but honestly with all the excellent places to eat around the island i do not know if i would do AI meals. i know that didnt help much !
That does help, thanks mags! I actually found that the cheapest rate includes breakfast and dinner (no drinks) so maybe that will be the way to go, and we can try some other spots for lunch and a few dinners.

We stayed up the road at Ladera but used their beach as well. It looked like a nice resort and we would consider staying there if we go back to St. Lucia.
I will say that I read so many amazing reviews of Ladera's food and I wasn't overly impressed. The view is amazing but once it gets dark you can't see it. If you decide to eat there I would go for lunch or drinks before dinner.

Thanks! I think we plan to go to the Hotel Chocolat, and maybe a couple of other places. But really this is just a relaxation trip so we'll probably spend a lot of time at jalousie.
