I preferred another girl because I had saved all the clothes for 2+ years and have nothing boyish and DH and I don't like the same boy names (at all. We have completely different tastes) but easily agree on girl names.
DH now feels badly outnumbered so I've agreed we'll try extra hard to find a male dog next year

So fun. I have a boy and girl and they're 29 months apart. They're 6 1/2 and 4 now and have so much fun together. They talk to each other and laugh nonstop, unless they're fighting. Great age gap.
I also have two girls and I LOVE it. They're really close in age - 19 months apart - and when they're not killing each other they're so sweet lol The other day the older one congratulated the younger one on her reading improvement, and the younger one congratulated the older one on staying in her bed all night after a nightmare. Melts my heart.
So sweet. They'll be like 27 months apart, so a bit larger gap, but I'm hoping close enough that they'll be able to play together well enough as they get older.
Congrats! I have two girls 27 months apart (now 9 and 7) and it is a great age gap. They are close enough in age that they can play together but far enough apart that the oldest is mature enough not to fight/instigate too much. It's perfect
