I got to work to discover the sign to my parking lot is a pokestop. Excellent! Because the game glitched on me yesterday and lost 20 balls :/ Yeah, I'm a nerd who joined the poke-revolution but it's encouraging me to get out of the house a bit more so that's good!
Didn't get as much cleaning done over the weekend as I had hoped but did get 1 flower bed 2/3 weeded. SO much to do before our party this Saturday. It's going to be a BUSY week! I have a massage tonight to hopefully head off more headaches, class tomorrow. Wednesday we have a Sounders game then picking up someone from the airport who is going to be crashing at our house for a week. Thursday is my only free night at home to get some baking done.
OMG!!! Not the greatest Monday. Woke up to text from boss letting me know she wasnt coming in today, so I had to take on some of her essential responsibilities for the center. I was blowing up her poor phone when I got here trying to figure everything out. Now that I have that done and bills paid I need to refocus and start getting down to my morning things here. UGH.
To top it off, I didn't sleep well and had awful dreams. It was not fun. Thank god its payday and I could go and grab myself coffee and bantam bagels from Starbucks.

This is a crap Monday. The other person I work with is out today, and shit has hit the fan in my department... with me as the only person to process/fix things. I have the bigger things under control, but people keep coming up to me with really mundane stuff that is really low priority. Today is going to be so busy that it will probably go by quickly, so that's something.

Sorry for all the gals having a difficult Monday morning.
Tman is at camp. He left yesterday morning and won't be back until Saturday. That's the longest he's been away from us. I miss him already. I put a card in the mail to him last night to go out today, obviously, and I hope it gets there in time. It should, but you never know what happens with camp stuff. I need to get his car package together for his camp next week, too, and get that in the mail hopefully on Friday. I'll be going back to the post with the suggestions, for sure.
James and I went to the AquaSox game last night with Felix'x rehab start. It was prety neat.
We all did a hike on Saturday. It was nice, but also torture as Tman and I are not in pristine physical condition. But we made it and hopefully we are starting to build up some endurance.
This week, I'm going to be cleaning Tman's room really good because while he's at camp next week, we are going to get him a new bed and get that all set up for when he comes back as his birthday gift the following Wednesday...when he will turn ELEVEN! WHAT?!
Need to do lots of other housework, too.
Work should be okay, but I will be here all week like most of society. I should be plenty exhausted by the weekend.

Hello. Not a whole lot going on around these parts. DD stayed at my parents house last night and will tonight. She is so cute, texting me earlier that her and papa were out to breakfast. Must be rough
I sent a TY email to the folks that interviewed me last week, highlighting what I bring to the position. I want it so bad but I really think they're going to go a different route.
I'm not sure if I mentioned that DD's soccer stuff is so different this year. Because she didn't start school early, she's being moved up a group on soccer. I'm sad for her that some of her friends won't be on her team this year, but the new coach sounds excited to have her and she is optimistic about meeting new friends. She has soccer camp next week at UW and is so excited for it. I need to figure out logistics this week for that.
Today has flown by. I'm off in just over an hour! I love days like that!
Had a pretty great weekend. Saturday, K & I went to the beer festival. My BFF met up with us there. It was the first time she's met him, and she seems to approve. So that was good. We all had a really great time. He had some buddies in town, so he left to meet up with them, and I headed down to West Seattle, so BFF & I could go check out the street fair there. We were both pretty tired, but we rallied, and walked down to hear one of the bands. It'd been awhile since she & I had some QT one-on-one time, so it was really nice. Yesterday I went to the memorial service for my old friend. I'm really glad I went. A bunch of us grabbed drinks afterwards, which was nice to catch up with some old friends/classmates. I was pretty wiped after that, so the rest of the evening was just spent chilling with the pup.
Not much going on this week. K & I will get together at some point. As will BFF & I. But that's about it.
God yesterday I was like ugh is labor starting, so much pressure.
This cold has moved to my chest, I just found a stray booger on my chest.... it is not a good day.
My whole family is in town we had the shower on saturday, by Sunday they were all fighting with each other. But it was a good shower and I appreciated having them there. I made my to-do list and it is massive.
Founder's Weekend is this weekend in Seattle/Tukwila so be prepared for all that Boeing related traffic
We are back into our regular schedules with H back at work after having over a week off. I really wish we had been able to do more family fun stuff vs just getting some stuff knocked off his to-do list. I am meal planning and trying to get a few things I have been lazy on done. Still adjusting to hound being gone, Diesel is starting to realize i think that his sister isn't coming back. It will be a week tomorrow and I still keep thinking I hear her howling in the back yard. But now with more attention on Diesel we are notching more age related things with him, which makes me feel horrible that we have been putting so much time and worry into the hound that he just kind of got pushed aside a bit since he while older has far less if not any issues. life is hard to juggle.
