Love Maren, especially because my H refuses to use it since we know a Maren. But it's an old family name of mine from the Danish side and so pretty and unusual.
Juliet and Celeste both flow really well with your last name. Scarlet is nice but when paired with your last name, it feels more like a comic book character. Unless that's what you're going for.
Lol that's kinda true. Not sure it bothers me though?
Then go for it. Juliet, Scarlet and Celeste all sound great with your last name.
Really, the -a thing is bothering me less and less the more I think about it ... I thought most -a names would sound too matchy-matchy with Lydia, but a lot of them really don't.
well, then.
we get nonstop compliments on aurelia.
camila NN mila was our girl name if DS had been a girl.
for some reason, i'm really set on margot for you. lol because obvs i have naming power, yes? hahahhaa. "lydia and margot" is just so adorable.
Right?! Lydia and Margot sound like an adorable power duo who wear kickass twee cardigans and hang out in the hundred acre wood and grow up to not be cocktail waitresses.
Naomi is at the top of my list if this baby is a girl, so that gets my vote. I also love Corinne. My friend has a baby Iris and I think it's really sweet.
Sorry but I agree with your H on Margot, though it's otherwise a nice name.
Margot is my absolute favorite girls name and what we named DD1 but I might hesitate with the double O too. It might be a little too sing-songy.
I also love Maren. What about Bridget or Gwen? I had a similar list of names and we named dd2 Blythe but it's not everyone's cup of tea.
Congrats on sisters too I don't think I commented yet!
Thanks!
I do actually love Blythe, and it was a middle name contender for Lydia! (and I love Bridget and Gwen, but we're close to a few little girls with those names too - which isn't a dealbreaker but just pushes them down the list a bit for me)
Dang, I'm kinda bummed enough of you are backing up H on the double Os. lol. That's fine, I'll live.
Haven't finished the thread, but, I LOVE Blythe LastName.
