I'm trying to remember some of the names from my girl name list 6 years ago and the only other ones I can strongly remember liking are Evangeline and Malia.
Oh, I also think Annie is an adorable name for a little girl - Annette or Anneliese?
Is Lydia popular right now? How did you come up with that?
It's in the mid-80s, I think? So certainly not rare, but not super-popular.
One of H's brothers has a friend with a daughter named Lydia - she was a baby at our wedding, so I think she's 9 now (!!). H and I heard that and were both like "wow, I love that ..." and it just kinda stuck through the years!
Right. I did think it sounded like an old timey name. I like going the same route for this baby too. My two cents would be to go for a classic name that's not making the rounds now in the original form or a modified form. Like Audrey or Margot
