WED OOTD

It's not really an OOTD.  More like I need help trying to figure out what to wear to a Modest Mouse concert next week.  I found this top and dh thinks it's too fancy. And he thinks that the shorts don't go. Thinking I might go get a lighter wash distressed short. I like the contrast of the lace with the distressed shorts.  He's telling me to wear a t-shirt. Anyway what bottoms would you wear w/the top? Maybe a color? It's a slight crop top but the lace covers my belly.

I really like where you are headed with this look but for me it is ruined by the exposed pocket linings. Otherwise it's great!

Oh I usually safety pin the pockets inside the shorts so they don't look so casual.  But for weekends I have no problems unpinning them.    Especially if I do wear them with certain shirts.
