Ours sleeps best on us, of course. I end up falling asleep in the mornings with her on my chest, but it makes me so nervous. We generally swaddle and use the rnp, but she doesn't sleep more than 2 hours that way.
Last night mine slept awesome in the swing. Not the fancy mamaroo, but the tried and true FP snugabunny. Other than that she also sleeps great in the car
During the day her naps were hit or miss early on (until 3 months and magic daycare). Best bets were the RNP and swing. At night she slept flat on her back and swaddled in our room with white noise and was STTN (6-8 hour stretches) around 8 weeks?
In my arms. I watched a lot of Netflix. Around 8w he became a champ at sleeping in his bucket seat in the stroller. I went shopping a lot.
He always liked the incline most of all for real sleeping so he did best in the RNP. Two hours sounds about right for a really new newborn. DS didn't do 4+ hour stretches for a few months.
On us, of course. Face down, not safe, SIDS risk, on us. She had some good runs in the car as well, but that ended pretty quickly.
Otherwise, at night she did OK swaddled in the Vista bassinet, but she'd usually roll around making these weird choking noises by about 4-5 AM, so I often brought her in bed with me.
Also, when DD was really new and only doing 2 hour or less stretches, I would lay back in the glider and nurse her with my Boppy. If I dozed off, I felt more secure that the Boppy would prevent DD from falling. It wasn't ideal but in the grand scheme of things, it was survival.
We have a bassinet insert for the pack and play, but she seems to prefer the rnp. She likes being awake in the swing, but won't sleep, whether it's swinging or not.

Swaddled in crib at night. Random places during the day. I tried swaddling mid-morning so I could take a shower and she actually slept a little longer! Sleeping on us definitely puts her in a nice, deep sleep faster though.

Dd, swaddled tightly, in her crib, for naps and bed, from day one. **unicorn baby**
Ds, car seat bucket for all naps until probably 7 months old. Would start the night in the crib, but end up lying on one of us in the recliner until sttn in crib at 4 months.
Best when in my arms/on me...or when I'm not sleeping (and need to) and driving (him in car seat) or pushing him in the stroller. This is when he sleeps deep but he's been a 1 hour interval mostly. He did sleep 3 hours one time and I panicked thinking he was dead when I woke and realized it had been that long. But, I put him down swaddled and in his bassinet or cosleeper.

During the day, basically.
In hindsight, I think this may have had a lot to do with how we put her to sleep during the day vs night, but it became a bit of a vicious cycle. During the day she would sleep in a carrier (fall asleep and stay there), in the swing (fall asleep and stay there), or in the crib (she'd cry herself to sleep in the time it took me to pee and run back, and then stay there asleep like 3 hours). At night we only nursed or rocked her to sleep, then transferred her. At first we put her in the arms reach, but around 6 weeks gave up on that because we'd wake after about 20 minutes, and started bedsharing.
Also, when DD was really new and only doing 2 hour or less stretches, I would lay back in the glider and nurse her with my Boppy. If I dozed off, I felt more secure that the Boppy would prevent DD from falling. It wasn't ideal but in the grand scheme of things, it was survival.
We generally swaddle and use the rnp, but she doesn't sleep more than 2 hours that way.
That's about as good as it got in the newborn phase. She napped in her swing or swaddled in her crib mostly, but not more than 2 or so hours at a time.

C did ok in the RNP at night until 11.5 weeks (by ok I mean 2-3, rarely 4, he stretches the first 6 weeks and then was down to 1-2 wake ups for a few weeks). Always swaddled and white noise.
Naps could be done in the RNP but we only had a handful of decent (1+ hrs) naps that way. He has never been a car napper and hated the swing. The only thing that reliably worked for naps was wearing him in the baby carrier while walking outside. No joke, if I came home or stopped he would wake up. There were many days where I walked 3 hrs/ day just to get him to nap...sucked but it also helped lose the baby weight fast (but also added to my exhausted sleeper deprivation state).
